The village of medieval origin is awarded the orange flag of the Italian Touring Club. It is located on a middle hill (180 m S.L.) with stunning views of the river valley of the Magra and the coast of the Ligurian Sea. The property is quiet and cool in summer with a view of the sea.
It overlooks a beautiful garden with table, chairs and table tennis. It consists of a large bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a large living room and a kitchen with a small balcony.

Free parking is available nearby. In the village you will find a grocery store, a bar and a typical restaurant. You can see the remains of the castle from the 13th century. Visit Dante Alighieri and climb the recently restored tower. Also noteworthy is the church S. Maria Maddalena with "Calvary" by P. Braujel the Younger and a Crucifixion by Van Dyck. The Palazzo Comunale houses the regional Enoteca Ligurian wines, including the Vermentino dei Colli di Luni.






The archaeological site of the Roman city Luni is located at the foot of the hill. Nearby is the bustling town of Sarzana, known for antiques (antiques exhibition and Attic in the Street) and the Festival of Mind. A few kilometers away you will find sandy beaches or coves between the rocks. The nearest beach in Marinella di Sarzana is about 8 km away. In the surrounding area you can reach the beautiful towns of Lerici, Tellaro, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre. For hikers, there are nearby the Apuan Alps, from which Carrara marble originates. For day trips, there are other places of interest such as Pisa, Florence, Portofino and Genoa.
