What a great place!!
This property was really nice! The location was perfect for us, and we walked everywhere (for reference we are a couple in our 50’s) and didn’t need a car or golf cart at all. The building was beautiful and historic, perfectly remodeled, and tastefully decorated. Suite was huge and very well appointed .

Breathtaking

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was one of the most memorable stays I've ever got to enjoy! I am extremely blown away by how clean the place was compared to the other places we looked at. MY wife is very hard to please, but this place was the first place that she had no complaints about! They even took the time to choose different pillow types so you had options. These hosts though of everything. The only thing that I will say is that below us there was a slight consistent banging noise that was noticeable throughout our stay, but if you're a heavy sleeper like my wife and I, then it should not be a problem.

We will definitely be returning to the Scarlet Mango Inn for another trip to Key West. Some things that we loved:-The house was clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. -The bed and linens were very comfortable! We slept so well. -The shared pool was nice to cool down during those hot afternoons. We loved meeting the other guests staying in the house. The outdoor furniture, lounge chairs, and extra floats were a nice amenity. There were also plenty of extra pool towels to use. -Location of this house is perfect! It is one block from Duval St where you can find a lot of restaurants, bars, live music, and the best people watching.-Landscaping is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch watching the chickens in the garden. -Extras such as Keurig, plenty of coffee, ice maker, and filtered water were appreciated. -Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been any easier. Great communication from inn keepers. Suggestions: A few things that would make this rental even better are a makeup mirror, a full length mirror, and a couple extra hooks or towel bars for wet towels and bathing suits.

Mid-May ‘24 Scarlet Mango Inn stay
We had learned while there that the Inn was renovated only a year prior! Don’t remember seeing that marketing point online. It showed. Well appointed, very clean, well attended too, and our inside suite decor was beautifully done AND COMFORTABLE! We slept very well in the bed. We stayed in the Scarlet room. Terrific living space, attached public shared front balcony, and a private balcony off the master bedroom. The setting was tranquil & serene. Huge trees envelope the property, but you’re in the thick of the scene! Intersection of Southard Street & Simonton Street, one block from Duvall Street! It’s on the northern end of town, so it is a long walk to the Southernmost point. It was feel-like temps of 115 when we were there, so too long to walk. Lots of other transportation options. Only letdown was the parking situation! They do have 2 street spots available in front of the Inn, but good luck getting one of them! Lots of circling around waiting for a spot to open somewhere nearby.

Reviewer Comments: Thank you for letting us stay! we had the suite a living room bedroom wrap around balcony upstairs with awesome air conditioning. the only complaint i have is the key in pads to open door the one outside did not work must of needed a battery and all the locks have a long delay, but that is trivial. We met everyone if the house 6 couples and we hung out in the pool during hot afternoons. One block to Deval Street so the location is awesome. One recommendation is to have a shared freezer it was hard to store anything frozen in the small fridges, but a freezer in common area would be a great addition. Thanks again and we will be back.

Such a fabulous place to stay
This was a last minute get away for our Anniversary. Boy did we chose the perfect place! What a nice warm, cozy, clean, top notch place to stay. We had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, plenty of soaps, towels, coffee and some snacks. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool but plan to next visit. When we come back to Key West, this is the only place we plan on booking. Thank you!

This is the second time I have stayed at property, It is always clean and well kept. This time we stayed in the Scarlett room. Room very spacious and up to dat The only complaint I have is that that room is on the corner and you can hear everything coming from streets, scooters, motorcycles, and vehicle that passes by. then nearby construction starting at 7:30am. Now I know it’s not the resorts fault but would have liked to sleep through night.

Just amazing!
I’m so glad we found the Scarlet Mango Inn. The room was wonderful, with a sitting room and two balconies. The pool area was incredible. The time spent at the pool was a highlight because it was a little oasis. Most of all, the location was perfect right near Duval Street and centrally located between both ends. They’ve done an amazing job with the inn and we can’t wait to return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked the Scarlett Mango Inn after not knowing what part of town my husband and I wanted to stay in. It was beautifully decorated, modern and very central to Duval and all things we wanted to check out while in town. I would only make 2 comments that is more personal preference than the location: 1. Coming from where I use smart locks at home... I believe these were the Amazon Basic kind so I couldn't tell when the door locked or unlocked or if it auto locked once we left, but found myself pressing the lock button multiple times. You have to use at front door and then the one to your room.2. Location is great bc only about a block from Duval. One thing you get from being right off the main is that trash pick up can be at 4:30am. I think if you're a light sleeper, a resort would avoid some of the City noises.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at the Scarlet Mango Inn. Again it was almost flawless! Our suite was clean, bright, well appointed and a great place for us to relax in the few times we weren't traipsing around Key West. The location, right off Duval Street, is ideal for walking in virtually any direction to hit the hot spots and our favorite places - but the inn and area is pretty quiet at night so sleep is not interrupted. The complementary bubbly was most welcome and we enjoyed but the pool one afternoon. Our only suggestions, coming from the missus, is a make-up mirror and stool or bench in the large shower would be nice. These are not showstoppers, just feed back for the inn keepers. We will stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was exactly as pictured. Beautiful vintage house, very clean and spacious. Tucked away off Duval St. and everything (restaurants, bars , shopping, etc) is within walking distance. I honestly didn’t want to leave. The vacation house has nice amenities waiting for you (snack basket, a bottle of Cava, small pool, main sitting area, rocking chairs, patio, etc). I highly recommend this rental for a relaxing vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was tastefully decorated and roomy. However, the noise level due to location and old windows was unbearable....woken up multiple times throughout the night(s) during my stay.

Wonderful Gem and great escape

Comfortable furniture and Best mattress we have slept on. Convenient to Duval but away from the noise. Very quiet and most time felt we were the only couple there. Check in and out very easy. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Scarlet Mango Inn could not have been better! The location is super convenient with most everything walkable. The charm of the beautiful old home is second to none. Our room was large, clean, well furnished, comfortable and stocked. We really enjoyed watching the world go by from both balconies as well. Check in and check out were seamless and the hosts were very accommodating. 10/10 will stay here again. You won’t be disappointed!
