This fully outfitted vacation rental is setup for getting the most out of your beach vacation. This adorable studio features super comfy queen bed and supplied kitchen. Located steps from the sand in Mission Beach! We supply you with beach towels, beach chairs, & boogie boards, PLUS the use of 2 bicycles for cruising on the boardwalk! Ideal space for 1 or 2 people. Plus A/C is included, a rare luxury in this area! Located walking distance to restaurants & bars, it is ideal for people arriving without a car.
This property does NOT include a dedicated parking space and therefore this unit is mainly recommended for people traveling without a car. Due to its location across from the beach, street parking can be very challenging, especially during the summer months, late at night, or sunny weekends the rest of the year. Other times of year street parking is very doable. Most guests arrive via Uber/Lyft. Once you get here there is no need for a car. The beach is just across the street and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If needed there are two nearby free recreation parking lots a few blocks away at Santa Clara Point or El Carmel Point.

The space is quite small and compact and is only suitable for 1 or 2 people. (The sofa is a loveseat and not long enough for anyone, including a child, to sleep on.)

For guests with infants, we can supply you with a pack and play and high chair upon request. However, keep in mind you will have very little floor space remaining with the pack & play set up.

We supply you with up to 2 beach cruiser bicycles for cruising down the boardwalk. Should you need additional bikes or helmets there is a bike rental shop a couple blocks away. (They also rent kid-sized bikes and baby seats if you need those too.)

You will have access to a patio and BBQ that is shared with the 5 other units of the complex. The other units are vacation rentals so feel free to say hello and make friends with your fellow travelers if you encounter them!

You have access to a coin operated washer/dryer that is shared by the other 5 units of the complex. Tenant access time is daily after 3 pm or before 10 am.

If you'd rather have your laundry done for you there is a laundromat within walking distance that offers drop-off service at an affordable weight based fee. You can just drop it off in the morning and they will have it ready and neatly folded for you by the end of the day.

Want a private bonfire on the beach? We can connect you with a service that offers set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores.

Are you into yoga? There is free beach yoga daily just a 5 minute walk from the property. No yoga mats are required. Just bring beach towels and water and you are all set. (It's donation based so maybe bring some cash for the instructor. )

Want professional pictures on the beach? What better backdrop than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! We can help arrange for an affordable local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family or group on the beach. Let us know in advance if you're interested and we can make connect you with the photographer during your stay.

The unit is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.
Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a mile away as well, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.

Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants, and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area.
The best thing about the neighborhood is that there is so much within walking distance that you may not need a car. You could just take a taxi from the airport (8 miles away), get dropped off here and you're at the beach! We have local restaurants, trendy beach bars, excellent coffee spots, and breakfasts cafes all within a few short blocks. Sea World is just 3 miles away.

The location is the best spot of all of Mission Beach. It is on the south side of Santa Clara Place (the only traffic light in North Mission Beach), which means a non district area. It is far enough (1 mile) north of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It is off of the main boulevard with friendly neighbors and a quiet homey atmosphere.

Recreational opportunities abound. This beach rental is a few minutes walking distance to Santa Clara point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sail boats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available in all of these activities. What's more there are free yoga classes each day on the beach and two courts north.

It is equally centered between Belmont Park (the roller coaster area) and Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, which are both 1 mile away, making this location removed from the tourist noise but yet accessible to the action if that's what you want.

There is a fantastic surf spot at the beach out front for beginners to the advanced surfer and great for the spectator as well. There are affordable surf lessons offered daily in the beach right out in front by our friends at Surfari Surf School. What's more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County. And we have two world class board shapers who live on our block in case you want to get a new surf board while you are here.
We offer self-check in with access to a digital door lock to make your arrival as easy as possible.

Included is the use of beach cruiser bikes, boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids. Plus there is a rental shop just a 3 minute walk away that rents surfboards, wetsuits, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, etc. They have very affordable rates, plus we give you a 15% discount on all the rentals they have to offer after booking with us.

It is positioned in the ♡ of Mission Beach, a gorgeous beach community on a super narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. Walk in either direction (West or East) and you'll encounter pristine white beaches. Both sides have wide boardwalks for bicycle riding or walking. On the bay-side you'll enjoy a relaxing sail bay with a calm atmosphere, while on the ocean-side you'll enjoy ocean waves for surfing and a lively beach scene. Either way, you'll call it paradise. We simply call it home!

This vacation rental is a small studio and accommodates only 1-2 people..Keep in mind, the space is 350 square feet, which is about the size of an average hotel room. There is one queen size bed and a sofa for seating. It offers a bathroom and small fully supplied kitchen.

The studio is supplied with a window AC unit. With the bathroom door open and the ceiling fan turned on for circulation the AC should keep the whole place nice and cool.

The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, and a coffee maker. We supply you with all the cooking pans, dishes, and utensils you might need. There are the usual kitchen gadgets such as bottle openers and cork screws.

The living room comes complete with a flat screen TV. It is equipped with Roku which includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and many other channel options available with your login credentials. We also offer free WIFI and plenty of outlets to keep you plugged in.

The vacation rental comes supplied with all the basics you'd expect at any hotel like a hair dryer and iron. We think of everything you might need and even stock you with beach towels so you don't need to pack those in your suitcase.
