Welcome to Casa Orion located in the El Manchen neighborhood of Antigua. This beautiful and cozy home is in a quiet and very safe neighborhood, a 10 minute walk to the famous Santa Catalina Arch and a 15 minute walk to Central Park and other popular destinations. There are also tuk-tuks, Uber and or cab drivers available if you prefer. The house is perfect for families or can sleep up to 9 people comfortably or is ideal for 1 or more guests. Fully equipped kitchen for any of your needs.

An amazing home
From the time I arrived I felt at home. Andrew and Ilmer are such gracious hosts - even helping with my luggage and groceries. I’ve stayed in VRBO apartments and homes and Casa Osito maybe the best one yet. So many nice touches to make it comfortable- the fans, the kitchen, the terrace, and although we didn’t need them- the supplies for small children. The location is great and the neighborhood very safe. Thank you!

One of a kind Experience
The property is located not far from the main attractions (Parque Central, Arco, Mercado de Artesanias) about 15-20min walk and there's always tuk tuks available if you don't want to walk, the neighborhood was safe and welcoming we spent a month there and we got to know the neighbors, there's a great spot for food in the main street to get towards the house, there is a tienda next to it and 2 more just down the street, we had a rental vehicle and were able to find on street parking everyday (sundays was a bit more complicated but we knew this thanks to our host) we never felt unsafe and the house was perfect for our family, my mom who resides in Guatemala came over to stay with us and she was able to have her own room with bathroom for added privacy which was fantastic, enough appliances to cook whatever fresh ingredients you get at the market, the view from the terrace even on a cloudy day was beautiful and you can feel the breeze. Our host was always available and there was never a time where we felt we couldn't approach them, they tried to let us know as much in advance as possible for any work in the house or the neighborhood. We felt like we were staying with friends and if we needed something they were able to provide it or direct us in the right direction. Overall we would love to come back and stay here again with more of our family.

I am a retired Department of Veterans Affairs worker after 20 plus years. I decided to move to Antigua Guatemala after several wonderful visits and friends I have made there. My second family I guess you can say. I decided to open up a vacation rental and to provide the best accommodations as I could. I love meeting new people and making their stay amazing.

This property is located in a very safe neighborhood in El Manchen. Many foreigners have passed through the area as there are hostels nearby and other small vacation rentals. After many conversations with local people and guests of these vacation rentals I decided that I had to deliver a wonderful, clean and beautiful place to stay, and offer as many amenities as I could.

Τι κάνει αυτό το κατάλυμα μοναδικό

You will have access to the rooftop terrace which is shared with the unit next door. The rooftop terrace will be open to guests from 9am until 9pm. There is a door that you may enter through my place and go up to the terrace. This door will be locked on our side from 9pm until 9am. There is a lock on your side at the bottom of the door that you can lock and unlock at your leisure. There will be signs in my unit to lead you up to the terrace. We will be more than happy to give you a tour. There you will have spectacular mountain views.
