Serre Chevalier is the largest ski station in the Alpes du Sud (Southern Alps) and is made up of a set of authentic villages scattered throughout the territory of 4 towns: Chantemerle, Villeneuve, Le Monêtier-les-Bains-and the city of Briançon. The villages of the Serre Chevalier valley were around as early as the 9th century, long before skiing. The area undeniably kept its “charme de l’ancien” (charm of the old).
The hamlet of Le Bez is no exception and has retained its traditional appearance with picturesque little streets and authentic houses with details that are so characteristic of the mountains such as the sundials, fountains and lavoirs (previously used for washing clothes). Nestled within a beautiful natural landscape, embedded amidst mountains and meadows, in a valley that enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year this "Bergerie" is perfect for mountain lovers.
