Welcome to the SS Salamander, South unit at 121 50th Street in Holmes Beach. This recently updated two bedroom and one bath unit is just a one block stroll down a side street to the beautiful white, sandy beaches. It's located in a quiet and preferred residential neighborhood yet it's easily within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. A great combination of tranquility and convenience!

The SS Salamander has a beautiful new 17' x 36'' heated pool surrounded by beautiful landscaping and lots of comfortable pool furniture. This Holmes Beach vacation getaway also has a large covered deck which is a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. There is charcoal grill and an outside shower for your use. A "shared" laundry room with a new full size washer and dryer is onsite for your use. The unit also features undercover, off street parking.

The SS Salamander south unit features a 55" flat screen television in the living room. The main bedroom has a 19" television. This unit sleeps five with a queen size bed, full bed, and a twin bed. It can be rented in conjunction with the North unit next door for groups up to ten. The spacious living area and kitchen make this a perfect spot for family reunions.

The SS Salamander is a one week minimum rental.

Parking is limited to two vehicles.

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at SS Salamander. The unit was as advertised. It was clean, had everything we needed, was about three blocks from the beach, and maybe five blocks from the trolley pickup. The staff at Island Properties was easy to work with through the whole rental process. We had a tv issue when we checked and and called the office. They put us on the maintenance schedule where the person who was coming texted us to tell use when he would be there. All around good experience.

VERY DISSATISFIED!
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We left the property a day early. Not happy at all about the dirty pool when we arrived, having to wait til Monday for the pool to be clean enough to use, only using it Monday night because by Tuesday the pool was no longer heated. I spoke with a manager on Tuesday who said he would get back to me and NEVER DID! To this DAY! Didn’t even have the courtesy to call me or email me!! The experience was inexcusable!!! I PAID to have a HEATED POOL for our vacation!!!! Our vacation was a BUST since I leased this vacation rental for the SOLE PURPOSE to have a heated pool to use all week! We drove 1100 miles to have a heated pool and be close to the Gulf of Mexico. If your company can’t respond to me and compensate me for this, I will feel obligated to post this information, along with the video and photos of the state of the pool at this location, on social media. As I said, I called on TUESDAY and spoke with a manager and was told I would hear back from him and he never contacted me. We were able to swim in that “heated pool” ONE TIME this week. This was for the unit located at 121 50th Street A on Anna Maria Island. To this day, Monday, April 17, I STILL have not been contacted by ANYONE at this company!!! Other than them sending me 2 emails asking me to review and rate my vacation rental!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time saying over spring break. Great location. You can't beat 175 steps to the entrance to the beach. Pool area is great for when the gulf was a little chilly. The unit itself was clean and adequately stocked. Could use more than one extra roll of TP. There were some general maintenance issues that need attention, but would not stop from staying again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked this location, quiet and very little traffic. Easy access to beach was a plus. Even though we had a few glitches the rental management were took care of everything right away. The property owners need to address a few worn out cushions on the deck. I highly recommend Island Vacation Properties.

Great location, well maintained home with everything you need

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We (family of 3) had a lovely stay here. The home is older, but well maintained with comfortable furnishings, bedding, and basic kitchen supplies. We loved the heated pool, grill and nicely landscaped back yard, and front deck. The house is on a quiet street, walking distance from several restaurants, and just a few steps from the beach.
