Ponderosa Evergreen Cabin | 20+Acres, Views, Creek, & Close to Downtown!

Welcome to our modern "cabin" on 20+ acres of scenic wooded land, creek, and mountain views...our favorite place in the world! Recently updated w/ Starlink wifi, carport, sidewalk, paved drive! A few min from restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Evergreen, plus countless trailheads & outdoor activities nearby. 20-30 min from Red Rocks, 45 min to Denver, & easy access to multiple ski resorts for easy day trips. Walk the property, explore the creek, or sit on the deck and take it all in!

Other than the foyer, the home is all on the 2nd level above the garage. We store things in there and the garage is not available for parking, but we try to keep it so you can hang out with the doors open and use it as a covered patio or workspace. The bedroom is large and has a king bed w/2 end tables. There's also a dresser for your items. One closet is ours that we keep locked and the other can be used, but is mainly for storage. The kitchen has everything you'd expect, and the counter overhang serves as the "dining area". The living room has a good sized couch and chair for lounging. The outdoor patio is a great place for coffee/hanging out/having a drink. This is our favorite place in the world. We sincerely hope you enjoy it and if you have any feedback for future guests we'd love to hear it. We also give discounts for repeat guests and would love to have this be a place you come back to regularly! We have made other interior updates not shown in the photos, but it will be better than what you see in pictures. We are in the process of adding a gas fire pit and back deck with a hot tub!

*The windows are great for views, but the Colorado sun is bright. We have a good curtain in the bedroom so it doesn't wake you up...sun rises EARLY in the summer here. We also just put up curtains in the living area based on guest feedback and requests.

Keypad on the front door with a back up lock box. You can park in front of either garage door and the driveway is pretty large. We partner with a couple people that help out when we're not in town. If we are in town, we'd love to meet you!

We are surrounded on 3 sides by large acreage lots, and on the north side by 1/2-1 acre lot homes. We HIGHLY recommend 4WD vehicle and other than the great walks you can take, you'll need a vehicle to get around. Gas station, grocery, and restaurants are all within 5-10 min. You can park anywhere on the driveway or under carport...we like to use that space for grilling!

*This is a mountain property and when it snows...it snows. During October through May we HIGHLY recommend a 4WD vehicle. While the driveway is pretty flat, it can get pretty difficult to get out of if you don't have 4WD.

*During the winter months, we have 2 snow plow contractors that come for any snow over 6". There have been times where they plowed and another foot of snow came down. Please watch the weather carefully. There have been times where we have parked at the end of the driveway just to make sure there were no issues getting out in case the plow couldn't come quick enough.

*Please explore! The creek is awesome, and so is..."just looking at the mountains & trees". There are detailed maps in the photos and with the check-in items showing the property lines. Our neighbors are very nice, but they don't like people walking on their property. Also use caution as there is a lot of wildlife out here. We've seen bears, deer, elk, porcupines, foxes, etc...

*Starlink is HERE!! We'll have our old backup wifi for a while in case it goes out, and that's good enough for streaming, but if multiple people are using, it starts to get overloaded. I don't have issues watching TV and checking email, etc...but our internet options are limited up here. That said, we have VERY good cellular and data reception. So far, STARLINK has been incredible though, and you should have to use the backup wifi!

**Guest agreement: We use a 3rd party for guest/owner insurance and guest agreements. After booking, you'll get an email/text from a company called "SuperHog". Once you enter your info and have signed the guest agreement, you'll be giving a CHOICE to:

1. $35 non-refundable damage waiver*(most common choice)
2. $500 FULLY refundable damage deposit.
3. Pay $0 and assume the liability for damage.

Depending on which option you choose, you'll be covered for accidental damage. Most People choose the waiver, but totally your call :)
