Scenic Escape at Camp AWOL! Minutes to Watkins Glen, Corning and many Wineries!

Welcome to rest and relaxation with family and friends at this peaceful setting on 8 acres with two ponds! This takes glamping to a whole new level! This is the ideal location to enjoy the Finger Lakes Region as it is just minutes from Watkins Glen International, waterfalls, wineries, breweries, Corning Museum of Glass, fishing charters, etc. Newly updated rustic retreat has four bedrooms, an open floor plan upstairs, a second living room with extra futons, workspace, equipped kitchen, charcoal grill and pellet smoker. The wrap around porch is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee/tea and take in the beautiful Mountain views and unbelievable sunrises. For the cooler days/evenings there are a few heated blankets and a propane fire pit on the back deck. There is also a lawn fire pit and wood for traditional campfires with plenty of chairs. The clear sky and stars at night won't disappoint!

This is a quiet property that has plenty of Space for parking and exploring. There are two ponds - small one at the top of the property and the other much larger and the center of many photographic moments. No fishing in large pond please as the pond is stocked to keep it clear and serene. If anyone would like to fish you can do so in the small pond at the top of the property where there are koi fish and painted turtles. There is fish food in the lower living room of you would like to feed the fish. A double seater Kayak and life jackets are available for use. No lifeguard on duty. The house has 4 bedrooms (2 on the main floor; 2 on the lower level), 2 Living rooms (lower level one has 2 large futons), full kitchen and 2 full baths (1 on each floor). Outdoor glamping bedroom/hangout area with a queen bed available seasonally April 30-November 15th, weather permitting.

Super Highspeed Wi-Fi and house phone for guests to use, or just completely unplug and hike around the property! There is an outdoor glamping bedroom for use from April 30th-November 15th, weather permitting....it is beautiful and a great place to take in the stars or views, but keep in mind it is a shed, so outdoor camping type elements apply despite put hardest efforts and preventative measures.

The property operates off of a well but has a full house water filtration system. New whole house A/C and heating Lenox units added in 2023. Can comfortably accommodate 9 adults and 5-6 kids or 12-13 adults.
