With 3 bedrooms and a recently finished basement, Pleasant Place can sleep 6-8 guests comfortably. All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues are readily available for guests. The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, for any cooking needs. Our coffee bar is set up for you to enjoy your morning coffee in minutes. Washer and dryer are available for use. In the basement you will find a ping pong table, air hockey table, dart board, pop-a-shot, ring toss, and board games for all ages. Our wide screen TVs allow for any streaming you would like, guest required to sign into own accounts. Our high-speed internet provides optimal conditions for working, streaming, and gaming. Our deck has a dining table that sits 6 as well as a propane grill. In the backyard you will find a wood burning fire pit. Pleasant Place is a perfect escape from the city, surrounded by trees and star lit skies. Sit back, relax, and breathe in the fresh air.
Guests will have access to the entire property. Guests will receive a unique code upon booking that will allow them access into the house.
*Guests will have to purchase tickets for Massanutten resort amenities such as the indoor/outdoor pools, recreation center, waterpark, etc. Most tickets can be purchased on Massanutten Resort's webpage.
Our neighbors have dogs that frequently are in their backyard and bark. Please refer to the noise compliance in the house manual if issues come up.

Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking for any level. Hour and 15-minutes from Charlottesville.

PARKING - All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are "highways" for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance.
Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed at the owners cost.
If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at: the MPOA Owners' Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive and the Hopkins Park parking lot located at 1977 Massanutten Drive.
NOTE: Buses, campers and RVs may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay.
TRASH – ALL TRASH MUST BE BAGGED. At the end of your stay you must put all bags in the large black contractor bag prior to being put in the outside trash can. Trash is picked up every Monday, even on holidays (except Christmas). If you are checking out Tuesday-Friday and have a significant amount of trash, please remove all trash from the property and bring to the dump. If the lid does not close on the trash can it must be taken to the dump. They can be thrown in the dumpsters located off Peak Drive in the back of the Owner’s pool parking lot, 4007 Peak Drive. Excessive trash left at the property is subject to a fee.
Reminder to call 911 for all emergency requests. Security can be called if you have a noise complaint, see open fires, someone parked in the road, oversized vehicles, suspicious activity, etc. The phone number for the on-site Security officer is 540-820-3810.
I am available 24/7 for guests to answer any questions or issues related to the stay. We want to ensure guests have the best stay possible so I can be reached via text, email, phone call, or the app.
Otherwise, if guests prefer limited to no interaction that is fine as well.
