Remodel included new tile flooring in the living room and lanai; all new kitchen: stainless steel appliances, granite counters, custom wood cabinets, new cookware, and dishes; new paint throughout and some new furniture. In addition to the 44-inch flat-screen TV with surround sound in the living room, there is also a 36-inch TV in the bedroom. Bring your CDs from home and listen on the player provided. Wake to the sound of the ocean from your 5th-floor direct oceanfront lanai. Enjoy the free DSL or wireless internet connection provided. The Valley Isle Resort is an oceanfront unit (no beach) within walking distance to Maui Brewing Co., China Boat and Dollie's Café and Pub.

Reviewer Comments: My family had a great time, we loved they view from our balcony, I definitely recommend a beach front unit, my 7yr old daughter loved the beach & pool, you can see large turtles in the water & one took a nap on the beach lol located close to downtown Lahaina, grocery store’s & restaurants if your into working out like me a local gym is around the corner next to McDonald’s

Shower and toilet room were small but didn't bother us too much. Opening the windows made it nice because of no a/c. Definitely would stay here again!

Summer Vacay
Amazing value for the view, location and cost. View off the lanai was amazing. Can walk down less than 2 minutes to a beach where we saw a sea otter and two sea turtles day one. Quiet area with nice staff. Great location close to a lot of other beaches. Walking distance to a great sushi place. Highly recommend and hope to come back!!

Whales everywhere you look!
We had a great time at this condo the first weekend of February watching whales and enjoying the local area! We enjoyed being able to walk to many good shops and restaurants, but we always got takeout because the view from the patio is unbeatable!! We saw whales all day everyday and lots of local turtles that popped their heads up a few feet offshore (one swam around us and gave us quite a scare when it popped up!) overall the property was perfect except the lack of air conditioning which was fine for February. I would highly recommend this property- especially during whale season!

Spacious condo with a full fridge, microwave, induction cook top, washer/dryer, comfy pillows and bed, full length mirror on the closet, sturdy furniture, good water pressure, close to great restaurants- Miso Phat came highly recommended, as well as grocery and retailers, and activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and golf. We would stay again and highly recommend this place.

This condo was perfect for coffee and mai tais on the lanai overlooking the crashing waves. We saw a few turtles from the lanai - Beautiful kitchen and adequate furniture. No real indoor dining space except for the counter but we didn’t need it this trip. Would love to come back and stay here again. Did not use the pool.

The view was spectacular. We loved having our morning coffee on the patio. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The location was perfect for us. Just far enough away from the highly populated tourist areas but close enough that we visited nearby beaches and shops. We can’t wait to plan our next trip. Chase N’ Rainbows was also a great company to book with. Everything was very easy.

Amazing!
It was clean and exactly as advertised! The lanai chairs were comfy and the view was amazing. Beach access is great! Everything was fully stocked a cheese grater was needed but we managed. There was beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and snorkel gear which was awesome. The Bed was comfy. One of the side lamps in the bedroom needs to be fixed but we just used another one. The trade winds and multiple fans made it cool even though there is no AC. Best trip EVER. We will definitely return!

Wonderful experience
This was the first time my husband and I had ever used a VRBO. We were pleasantly surprised. The condo was very clean and despite the occasional family that stayed down the hall with playing kids slamming doors it was quiet. There were plenty of basic supplies and the appliances were all in great working condition. It is nice to have a washer and dryer to take care of the laundry that one always seems to accumulate when on vacation. One of the reasons we selected this unit is due to the large screen TV in the living area. It was a Smart TV so it was nice to have a full range of shows to watch after our daily excursions. This was not an issue for us, but it might be for those who stay in the future: there is considerable beach erosion occurring in front of this building. There were many large sandbags to protect the property. Even in our short stay of 9 days we noticed that the ocean waves were eroding the bags too. The property owners have a plan to fix that but I'm wondering if it may be too late before they eventually get to construction of a new beach. In the meantime there is no beach really in front of the property. Also, the pool is very small. One family playing Marco Polo dominated it for most of the time we tried to access it, There were only 4 of them (father and 3 kids) but it does make it hard to go in the pool when one family is playing that game. While they were respectful and trying to be quiet, it's just not large enough to accommodate them and me and my husband at the same time. The pool was clean and the grounds were well kept. I'm not sure what happened, but apparently there was a fire in the front of the condo building at one point. So there are plans to rebuild an entry. When that occurs be prepared for construction noise. Be sure to check your dates for that. Two nice features: a small turtle pond at the entry to the elevators and there's plenty of parking. Thank you Maui for your hospitality. We can't wait to visit again.

Sunset dinners
Perfect for us as we're not big on eating out, preferring to cook most of our meals in. The setting was perfect for sunset dinners and drinks on the lanai. Appreciated the updated kitchen with all the amenities.

Spectacular sights and sounds of the ocean!!!
This was our first time in Maui and what an incredible experience! As soon as we walked in we were in awe of the ocean view, better than the pictures could ever describe! The condo had everything our family needed with upgraded appliances and cleanliness throughout. We woke up every morning to coffee, fresh fruit and homemade breakfast on the balcony, watching whales (so many whales!), unbelievable rainbows and just enjoying the beautiful, big blue ocean. The resort was super close to all the best beaches and most amazing sushi spot across the street. Was also nice to walk 2 mins to the local McDonalds for the kids! We had one issue with a lightbulb and management fixed while we were out for lunch the next day. We were also skeptical about not having AC and was definitely not needed with the fans and fresh ocean air. So grateful we found this place and will definitely recommend to others!! Mahalo for all the great memories we will cherish forever.

Average, at best.
Would not stay again. Queen bed was uncomfortable, even with the mattress topper. There are 4 bar stools, but no dinette set. Unless you want to sit at the counter or at the very small patio set, there's nowhere to sit for dining. Although there's a storage bin out on the lanai with snorkeling gear for your use, if it's not dirty, it's broken. Nice recliner, but sofabed couch was very uncomfortable. Some ceiling fans are in need of repair. On the plus side, the view from the lanai was great and nice upgraded appliances.

Perfect location!
My family of 4 stayed here for 8 nights and it was amazing. The beach was perfect. The condo was beautiful. There were boogie boards and skim boards for the kids. We will definitely be staying here again .

Great time
We had a great time there. The condo has everything we need it for our stay. The only thing we didn't like is that we couldn't use the A/C unit even though they have it. They locked the closet that has the turn on unit for the A/C. We have to open the door for the breeze. Good thing it wasn't that humid. Besides that, we had a great time.

Beautiful location. Saw turtles swimming every day.

True Beauty
This condo is exactly as picture. We absolutely loved the condo & definitely would stay again. I loved how you could hear the ocean so well. It was perfect. Only down side is that it doesn’t have an air conditioner but it has a bunch of fans & you can get a nice breeze inside from opening the doors. The kitchen is truly amazing. Can’t wait until I can go back.
