The Space:
This charming 3 bedroom home boasts a quiet location among the pine trees, all while being mere minutes away from endless outdoor activities! Explore and play by day, and by night relax and recharge in the bright and open main living space that is great for relaxing in front of the fire, chatting with your group, or watching the snow fall out the large windows. Or take the entertaining to the great outdoors on one of the home’s two outdoor spaces which feature a hot tub, patio furniture, and great views over the surrounding nature!
Head up the 14 steps to the upper deck, where you will find the main entrance into the home. As you step inside you will find the main living area on the upper level, a well-decorated space with high ceilings, exposed wood beams, and soaring windows providing stunning views over the surrounding nature.
The upper level boasts an open layout with the living room, dining area, and kitchen all connected, making it easy to stay social with your group. The living room provides a comfortable area to connect with your group with a large sectional sofa situated around a coffee table, an oversized chair, a 55” Smart TV, and a wood-burning fireplace atop a lovely red brick hearth. Soaring windows cover an entire wall of this room, making you feel as if you are relaxing amongst the trees while in this space. In the winter time, you will love curling up on the sofa as you relax by the fire and watch the snow fall!
From the living room, you can access the large upper deck, which boasts lovely views over the surrounding trees. Dine al fresco at the patio table with seating for 6, prepare a meal on the propane BBQ, or sit on the built-in bench that runs along the railing of the deck while taking in the sounds of the soothing stream that runs nearby. Nature lovers are going to love this outdoor oasis!
Back inside, you will find the dining area just off the living room. The table features seating for 6 and bridges the living room to the kitchen across an open kitchen bar where you will find two bar stools for extra seating. Make your way into the bright and open kitchen where you will find stylish blue cabinets and white countertops, a wide variety of cooking appliances, and ample counter space for meal prep. You won’t even mind doing the dishes after dinner, thanks to the great views you can enjoy from the window above the kitchen sink! From the kitchen, you will find a mud room complete with a full-size washer and dryer and access to the private backyard area.
When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find the first bedroom off the kitchen. This warm and inviting space features a queen-size bed with lamps on either side, a dresser and closet for storage space, and a Roku TV. Adding to the comfort of this bedroom is an attached full bathroom, which features a single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo.
Make your way up the spiral metal staircase to reach the other two bedrooms. When you arrive to the upper floor, you will first come to an open loft space. Not only does this space have impressive views over the trees, but it doubles as a hang-out spot and additional sleeping space with a twin-size bed. On the other side of the upper level is the two bedrooms situated next to each other. The first bedroom is great for sharing with two twin beds and a closet, and the second bedroom features a queen-size bed as well as nightstands and a closet for extra storage space. Conveniently located next to the bedrooms is a bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a standing shower.
The home also includes a private 6-person hot tub off the lower level of the home, the perfect quiet place to take in the fresh mountain air or ease sore muscles after a busy day of adventures! The Neighborhood:
If relaxation in the great outdoors is what you are looking for, this North Lake Tahoe gem has everything you need to have an amazing Lake Tahoe vacation. The cabin is situated on a quiet street, just minutes away from an endless network of National Forest trails. During the winter months hit the trails and enjoy cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, and in the summer these same trails turn into the perfect hiking, mountain biking, or dirt biking areas. You can even drive your car along the dirt road in the summers to access the famous Tahoe Rim Trail and hike to Watson Peak! This same trailhead also offers access to a paved bike path that can take you to Tahoe City and beyond.
In the winter months, the bike path is well maintained for 3 miles, so you can easily snowshoe or XC ski out and back through the woods. The location of the home places you nearby some of the best skiing in the area with Palisades Tahoe and 20 Northstar Ski Resort under 20-minutes away. If Nordic skiing is more your thing, you are less than 5 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic XC Center. For those looking for a little less outdoor adventure, the beautiful town of Tahoe City is 7-minutes away where you will find large grocery stores, boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, a movie theater, and in the summer a farmer’s market and live music. Only 8 minutes down the road in the other direction brings you to Agate Bay where you will find the famous Gar Woods Grill and pier as well as Watermans Landing where you can rent a wide variety of watercraft.
Getting Around:
Those traveling without a vehicle can comfortably get around thanks to Tahoe’s public transportation system called TART. The home is only a two-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop on the Mainline and is stop HWY 28 at Old County RD, which runs every hour and stops along the entire western shore of Lake Tahoe from Tahoma to the north shore at Incline Village. Or make a five-minute walk to the stop at Hwy 28 at Chinquapin Condos to head to Kings Beach. For those with a vehicle, you are just a 7-minute drive to Tahoe City, where you can use the FREE park-and-ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort.
The home’s great location places you within quick access to the main highway, so you can enjoy the many beautiful surrounding areas within a 20-minute drive or less! In the winter hit the ski slopes at Northstar Ski Resort or Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts, both a 20-minute drive away, or make the less than 5 minutes drive to the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you can XC ski or snowshoe.
Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Other Things to Note:
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
