great location, very overpriced house
Some of our issues were due to the property management, which we are told is now being changed. VRBO did refund us a night due to the issues we had.
We arrived to a dirty house. The sheets are clearly not been changed, they were full of hair and our bed actually had foil pill cards still inside the sheets.There is no dishwasher, and the dishes and utensils were clearly dirty. The rugs had visible debris on them and when we moved one of then to shake it out, it dumped a pile of sand and debris on the floor. Management was initially helpful and sent a new cleaner, but quickly became unreachable. We also went days with no wifi as the repeater was missing and no one would come to help find it. The sleeper couch was broken.
The house itself is a very cute bungalow type beach house in an amazing location in Leucadia. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The outdoor living area is very nice, but also unusual as there is no back door to access the back patio. We enjoyed the fire pit, and ate dinner outside a lot as there is no table to eat at inside.
The house is very small, the walls are paper thin, the light from the kitchen pours into one of the bedrooms over the space above the wall that connects them. There are 2 bedrooms but literally everyone has to be awake or asleep at the same time, its crazy close quarters. The parking is a whole situation. We have a ford truck and we had to arrange with the neighbors constantly to get in and out when we went places.
