I have a couple of long time friends who live here. One of them did my title insurance work . For years we stayed at their units and finally decided to buy after traveling both coasts of Florida. We didn't see it all but enough to make a decision to buy in Fort Myers a rapidly growing community with an international airport.. We decided on Sail Harbour after looking around at other nearby sub divisions. Our unit was built in 2006. We purchased it 2010 and furnished it in 2011. It's a part of the hospital campus. The gated community is on the hospital electric grid so we don,t have power outages. A real bonus. And if needed, the hospital is walking distance. A sight to see is a visit to the hospital which has an unbelievable architectural interior with a restaurant available to the public. The bus is another great feature for your visiting guests who don't rent a car. It stops in front of the hospital and travels to the airport and to shops throughout Ft. Myers. I also chose this location because you have quick access to the beaches, access to the river activities, access to the baseball stadiums, and very close access to grocery and drug store shopping, and restaurants. Its just very convenient and its also a very overall new area of Ft Myers.. If the theater is something you like the Barbara Mann Theater is only 5 miles away at the campus of
Florida Southwest University.
