Makani Sands # 301 Γωνιακό 3μμ Townhouse στον ωκεανό

Το Makani Sands # 301 είναι μια ευρύχωρη γωνιά 3 υπνοδωματίων, 2 1/2 Bath townhouse στον 3ο & 4ο όροφο, με απίστευτη θέα στον ωκεανό. Διακοσμημένο σε παραδοσιακό στιλ της Χαβάης, αυτό το πανέμορφο αρχοντικό διαθέτει 3 καλωδιακές τηλεοράσεις, VCR / DVD, CD player. Υπάρχει μια πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα με μια συμβατική σόμπα και ένα φούρνο μικροκυμάτων. Υπάρχει ένα μεγάλο τραπέζι τραπεζαρίας για οικογενειακά γεύματα. Περάστε μερικές νύχτες στο σπίτι μαγειρεύοντας φρέσκο ψάρι στο beachbront BBQ μας, ή να καθίσετε και να χαλαρώσετε και να περάσετε μια μέρα ηλιοθεραπεία μπροστά. The place is a great location, walking distance to so much. The view from the balcony’s are amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely, will recommend to friends and family and we will stay here again!

Beautiful, Convenient Location

What an absolutely beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the whales from the two lanais and hearing the ocean waves at night.Being a corner unit, we had more light and better views from the lanais. The building is conveniently located within walking distance to a beach park and coffee shops and restaurants.

Family vacation

The place was amazing. The keys we were originally given were totally different keys once they got replaced. My only complaint is the person who cleans the cement at 6am every day. He uses a metal shovel to scrape sand up and move furniture around. Maybe change that to a later time?

Maui family vacation

Condo is in a great location with wonderful views of the ocean. Property manager was excellent. She made check in and check out easy. Pool area and ocean front deck were perfect for enjoying the sunshine. Condo had everything we needed but could use some updating.

Sea turtles daily

Great to look out on the water and see turtles playing in the surf! The condo was clean and the a/c worked well, but the place could be updated (a bit dingy) and there was an electrical glitch in one of the bedrooms. Overall, a wonderful vacation.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay at Makani Sands! Yes the unit is a bit dated but everything was great. Nice big lanais with beautiful views. Enough space for our 4 adults & 2 kids without feeling cramped. My kids loved the pool! Provided snorkel gear was a bonus too. Snorkeling right out back was awesome, lots of turtles! Would definitely stay again!

Ocean front in a perfect location

This was a family trip to celebrate our son’s college graduation and each of our adult children had their significant other so we were a group of 6. We loved snorkeling right off the beach and enjoyed the waves crashing at night while we sat on the porch overlooking the ocean. We also loved the location with access to many beaches where our son could surf and we could snorkel and we enjoyed being close to many restaurants and close to the grocery store. It really was a perfect place to stay and we would love to come back !!

Oceanfront rental

Great Location ! Ocean about 15 yards away. Enjoyed the 3 bedroom ocean front rental. Close to coffee shops, cafes and walking distance to the food trucks. The turtles pass through the water in front of our condo and see them clearly from the lanai, snorkeled with the turtles in front of our condo. Apartment is a little dated but very comfortable. Manager Tammy and Debbie were responsive to our needs and allowed us a little later checkout at 12:30 pm. I feel it offers great value to a family like us with 6 adults Mahalo !

Incredible panorama.

We Love Makani Sands!

We are a family of six and this Makani Sands location was perfect for our trip to Maui. The views from both balconies were amazing. We loved the beach / sitting area. We were very close to other beaches and restaurants, but we also did a lot of cooking and used the grills one night. The place has everything we needed. Our kids loved the heated pool and spent hours in it. The snorkeling right off the property was quite good. And the other residents are really nice. My step son saw one of them fishing one night, chatted with him, and then was told he could use the fishing pole any time! Someone else gave him some bait. He was in heaven. Great place to stay. Highly recommend it!

Had issue with air conditioning. Primary suite very nice but back bedrooms had noisy air conditioning or were too warm. Furniture could use some updating as well as toilet on lower level. Kitchen well equipped. All in all just needs some updating and overpriced for condition.

Family celebration in paradise!

Location and view are 10/10! Numerous turtles along the rocks by the sitting area made dreams come true for family members to see them in the wild. Condo was overdue for pest control, roaches in the kitchen were abundant. Property manager was very responsive and offered another unit but we chose to stay and use raid, didn't see anymore. Toilet broke, was addressed first thing next day. Appreciate the immediate responsiveness. It was hard to keep the 2 guest rooms cool, master was easy to cool. Appreciated the nice beach towels readily available. Overall, we loved the view and accommodation of Property manager, unit is over due for some TLC. Even in current condition it's still a nice unit I would recommend but understand it's not a shiny new modern condo.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed our time at the Makani Sands.Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, knives, cookware and ice.Use of a washer and dryer available, since we had 3 small children was great.Outside maintenance was very good, Bert was always busy doing something to beautify the place and he was very friendly and accomodating.We had some issues with insects (ants) in the kitchen, important to put foods in the fridge or plastic.BBQs were very clean and all the tenants shared them in a timely manner.View from the lanai for whale watching was fantastic.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: West Maui Makani Sands has been our go to for the last 6-7 years. This year was a major landscape (beachside) overhaul. We were called 5 days prior to arrival stating that the grass was tore up. Upon arrival it was more than tore up. Then we found out a 25% discount was given to all renters due to conditions and no beach access and we were not offered that. We paid over $4000 for the rental. You would expect top conditions all around for that price. Extremely disappointing in Manager Tami. I

Excellent Stay with Gorgeous View and Great Snorkeling

The place was very clean and very quiet. The stunning view was right on the ocean. I would leave the sliding door ajar as to fall asleep and wake up to the relaxing sound of the ocean and birds. This place has all the amnementies as well. Beach towels and bath towels for the whole family. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, full kitchen with all the plates, cups, and spices needed for cooking. Ice cube trays, dish washing soap and laundry detergents and fabric softener sheets as well. No need to pack all the extras! The decor was beautiful and beachy! I loved all the new upgrades! 2 and a half full bathrooms and great air conditioning worked well. A place I would definitely book again and again!

Excellent Stay again at Makani Sands Condos

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During July 2014 my family of nine people had a wonderful stay and accommodations at Makani Sands, units 301 and 210. This was my third visit to Maui and I have stayed at Makani Sands each time. The facility is located right on the beach, with private access to the beach and snorkeling for the guests and residents. The balconies face west, and we were treated to excellent sunset views each night. We also enjoyed (twice) using the gas BBQ grills to cook steaks and burgers. The grills are built into a very nice granite countertop configuration.After checking prices of nearby hotel rooms, my conclusion is you get a much better value by staying at Makani Sands since each unit has a fully equipped kitchen and private laundry facilities.I fully recommend Makani Sands Condos to anyone considering travel to West Maui. The town of Lahaina is only 6 miles to the south which offers great dining and shopping. Great for a small group.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view for the price! The biggest issue we had was not enough hot water for 6 people. The manager called a plumber and was told it's only a 30 gallon water heater and it's not big enough for 6 people. She suggested that we spread out our showers. That is hard to do when we are all coming home from the beach at the same time. Some of us rinsed off again by the pool and went swimming and showered again later. We used warm instead of hot and made it quick. A/C was great, although it was on a 6 hour timer. An 8 hour timer would be better for the night. The price was lower than most condo's with a view. It is a fair price given that it is an older condo. It was clean. We enjoyed the view and appreciated the A/C and beach towels.
