Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club #1

This bright two bedroom, two bathroom flat is one of the closest to the ski mountain! With the master bedroom at one end and the second bedroom on the other side of the living room, this layout affords the most privacy.

This comfortable unit has updated qualities such as a tiled entryway, new paint, new living room furniture, new bathroom cabinetry, wall mounted hair dryers in both bathrooms, new kitchen counter tops, cabinets and new carpet.

Bed Arrangement: There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom. In the second bedroom, there is a queen bed and a trundle bed. For an additional sleeper, the living room sofa doubles as an extra sleeper.

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials! For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace! The living room has a flat screen TV and blu ray DVD player. The 2 bedrooms also have flat screen TV's and DVD players.

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV

Views: This condo has an awesome view of the Sherwin Mountains and Mammoth Mountain!

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (apprx ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (apprx 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.

Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

Come stay in this unit and you will feel right at home.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Unexpectedly amazing
My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised at how great this place was. The listing doesn't really do it justice, it is well kept and well-appointed, if a little dated. A quick walk to canyon lodge was key for us, as we came to ski for a week. The view from the balcony was pretty nice, you can see some of the mountain, and the village gondola going by in the distance. Overall it was great and I highly recommend this property to anybody looking for a great time in Mammoth.

Spacious, close to slopes
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four of us stayed for three nights in March. It was easy to get to Canyon Lodge and the space was great--two large rooms with comfortable beds (though the pillows were a little flat so I would recommend bringing your own) and a well equipped kitchen (including coffee filters, despite the website saying you need to bring your own).

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is located right at the entry to the complex. It is the closest unit to Canyon Lodge. Great location. Can be a bit noisy at night but we enjoy being closer to the lodge. The unit is clean and has great wifi. Two of us used the wifi and need quite a bid of band width and had no problems at all. The management ladies at the front desk are always very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the beds in the second bedroom are very uncomfortable. I wish they would replace at least one of them.

Family vacation
Our activities and stay was enjoyable, but place was smaller than appeared in pictures. And the extra bed in the room we chose not to use as it would block the walkway! Parking was tight for truck in garage. Parking was limited out front of garage to approx. 4 cars. Outlets were loose and need to be replaced. Charge chords kept falling out. No washer or dryer to wash or soaked jackets as it rained heavy while there. A big distaste for me was that I awoke on my last paid day to check my emails only to find the wifi was cut off already! Although I was charged for that days stay and had upt to 10 am Firm! to be out. This left a sour taste for me.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall rental was nice. However, the people above us were quite noisy. And, noise from the garage door opening early in the morning woke us up. We could also hear heavy footsteps on the staircase next to the unit. The actual unit itself was fine but I could not recommend this to a friend due to the noise issue.
