Cottages in the Walled Garden, Fring, Norfolk

Perfect if you are looking to get away with a large group of family and friends, The Walled Garden Cottages, is situated on the Fring private estate. The cottages are in the ideal location for large gatherings. Available to book as one stay, these two separate cottages are a short walk from each other and are nestled alongside the formal gardens. A stone's throw from Norfolk's best beaches, the estate also gives guests access to a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis courts.

Exclusive and extremely private to escape to, the privately-owned Fring Estate offers these cottages a sublime two-acre walled garden setting, making this a special retreat.

You will adore the woodland, parkland and wildlife which is in abundance and the total peace and seclusion although you are also only a short drive from some of Norfolk's best beaches at Brancaster and Old Hunstanton, and some of Norfolk's loveliest villages such as Burnham Market and Thornham.

The two cottages enjoy the same laid back rustic style and come with a shared garden separated by a hedge and gate so you can be as private or as accessible to the rest of your party as you so wish. With a total of seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, three sitting rooms and two large terraces which are all south facing, there are lots of options for where to eat and mingle. Gardener's Cottage sleeps ten while Park Cottage sleeps six. Both have good size modern well-equipped kitchens and dining areas when everyone wants to come together. There is a very large table in Gardener's and outside too so everyone can dine together inside or out. All beds in all the properties are dressed in crisp white linens and the quality mattresses and pillows will ensure you have a good night's sleep.

Park Cottage also has a games room with table tennis and bike racks for those keen to explore the area by bicycle. Both properties have outdoor seating areas as well as barbecues. There is also seasonal use of the heated outdoor swimming pool along with a tennis court – ideal when you don't want to go to the beach.


Additional Information
The parkland outside the walled garden and behind fences is private.
Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
Whilst the garden is fenced, please note: Smaller dogs and escape artists may find a way through the fence.
The duvets and pillows are feather.
Swimming pool and tennis court are open from 29th March to 30th September 10am to 4pm. They are shared by guests at all the properties.
High chairs and cots available, please bring your own cot bedding.
