Park on the street (there's plenty!) and enter through the front door accessed from the front deck — a great little outdoor living space complete with a functional gas grill. Inside, the respectable simplicity of design and décor, the natural light, the open concept, the wood-floors … all of it, will invoke a simple, respectable smile. The layout will be immediately apparent … a living room, kitchen combination separated only by a single wall opened up during the most recent renovation speaks to the home's functionality. It might be relatively small, but you could still invite the friends over and entertain the kids. There's a TV with board games, comfortable seating, and the kitchen is clean and modern with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The dual bedrooms are both off to one side of the interior of the home, and both offer quality queen beds with comfortable, quality bedding — everything professionally laundered and appointed to professional, hotel standards. If you are bringing fido, note that there is no access to the backyard from the house, but there are leash free dog trails at Palmer Park and other parks nearby where dogs can run.

The Neighborhood:
Located approximately 2 miles north of downtown Colorado Springs, this neighborhood is established and quiet. Just a few blocks away from UCCS (The University of Colorado Colorado Springs), many of the homes are rented to students. There is dining & shopping approximately a mile away in the University Village shopping center with some great eateries (and drink-eries) like BJ's, The Cowboy Star, Bonefish Grill, Señor Manuel's and more. Closer still is a hidden gem of a pizza place, DP Dough. For the outdoor lover, Palmer Park, the city's own 1200 acre central & totally natural open-space park, is just a few blocks away and offers trails for running, hiking and biking (along with a series of off-leash, dog-friendly trails on the Mesa). Garden of the Gods, the Pikes Peak Region's most visited attraction, is just a few minutes up the road. Downtown is close, and everything else is easily accessible. Value, amenities, in a practical (perhaps looked-over) package—this area might be your Colorado Springs hidden gem!
Getting Around:
Although there are great entertainment, dining and recreational opportunities close to this vacation rental, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.

-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. If we are able to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out, we can do this free of charge. Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early for an early check-in or the day before your departure for a late check-out.
