Some TLC Needed
Rating Details:
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The location of the house was okay - down a gravel road and it would definitely be quite a walk into town - especially after days spent hiking.The layout of the house is great and just as described. It was nice being in the trees.Where things fall short: the mattress badly need to be replaced. The mattress toppers are not enough! Who wants to go on vacation and not be able to sleep? Each and every bed was horrible.The house was not clean on arrival. Very dusty - obvious just by looking. The 1/2 bath toilet was dirty, the shower in the master had mold in the grout lines, there were crayons and other items left out on the tables in the master (from previous guests)? I think their idea of cleaning was changing the sheets (hopefully), putting out clean towels, and emptying the dishwasher (which was very hard to figure out how to start). The sofa in the main room needs to be replaced - very worn. I hope they spend my $35 non-refundable security deposit on a new coffee maker. The heat pad on it is completed rusted. The cabinets were sticky. I am not sure if it was the paint or just dirty. It would make a world of difference to have the cabinets refaced.
