ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:

This is a bright and beautiful self-contained three bedroom apartment set high in Thredbo village on Banjo Drive. This location lends itself to fantastic views of the mountain and the village from the sun-drenched lounge room. The free village shuttle-bus stop is very close to take you to the bottom of the village throughout winter. On foot there is a more direct shortcut thought the village compared to walking along the roads.
PROPERTY LOCATION: The map refuses to show the correct location of the property within Thredbo. Thredbo doesn't have proper "addresses" (being located in the National Park) so it creates problems for Home Away to locate Thredbo properties accurately. It is overlooking "Bella's Corner".
FACILITIES: Wi-Fi included; this apartment features a full kitchen, one bathroom with shower, plus an extra separate toilet, flat-screen TV, DVD, CD player, and electric heating. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes all kitchenware, crockery and cutlery. Appliances include: fridge, stove, oven, grill, microwave and a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and separate clothes dryer. As this is a holiday apartment it is not serviced during your stay. Apartment has WiFi
BEDS: Bedroom #1= King bed, but can split into 2 single beds (2 people), Bedroom #2= Double bed with Single bed above it (aka: Tri-bunk) (3 people), Bedroom #3= Queen bed + Bunk (4 people). NOTE: Made up beds & towels costs extra $35/king/queen $25/single/bunk. Organise directly with us after booking if you book via VRBO. Most people opt to BYO which means 2 sheets per bed, a pillowcase and towel each, bathmat(s) and tea towels. We always provide doonas, pillows, mattress protectors.
MOUNTAIN BIKING: This property has nowhere special to store bikes apart from chained up on the small landing or outside the back. If they are clean and dry you can bring them inside the apartment (bring a clean plastic tarp to put them inside).
PARKING: There is one car space at the property. Extra cars can be parked in Thredbo's huge long term carparks. You can unload at the property then move your car(s) and can get the free shuttle bus back (its about 1km away). Few people ever need to use their car once they have arrived.
SECURITY BOND: Before check in we require a $500 security bond - this is usually a credit card pre-authorisation (not a charge). Its possible to do this via HomeAway(Stayz) but they will charge your card and then later refund it which is not the right way to do it.
SNOW-SEASON ACCOMMODATION DATES: The full 2023 snow season runs from 10th June – 2nd October the first night being Fri 9th June

--- Weekends Fri+Sat nights are pricey by comparison.
--- We can rarely offer a Sat arrival or departure.
--- Staying only 1-night is almost as much as staying 2-nights
