This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath Sea Colony West condo is perfect for a family (up to 4) or couples' beach vacation getaway! Single level living with private off-street entrance, outdoor shower and cheerful beachy d�cor. This condo features all the comforts of home including central air conditioning, full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, 3 TVs, DVD and WiFi. Relax and enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails with friends and family on the wonderful open deck! Just a minutes walk to several nearby restaurants and the private Sea Colony beach. Don�t feel like walking to the beach? Take the community shuttle that runs all day during the summer season.
Sea Colony is a full service resort offering 12 pools (2 indoor, plus 7 more for the kids), world-class tennis, fitness centers with indoor pool, saunas, whirlpool, locker rooms, exercise room, indoor gym and more! Activities available for all ages including kid's night out, bingo and more. Community Shuttle (in season) and on-site security. Recreation fee of $55.00 per person per week-not optional. Great agents vs comfort level
Overall, as a veteran sea colony renter, I was not impressed and slightly disappointed. I had to buy Raid for the ant problem in one bedroom and both bathrooms. I had to buy windex to clean the “already cleaned” unit sliders. I had to bring two 2.5 gal water jugs to have potable water at my disposal. The beds were made as per the “bed making” linen plan we purchased but they were squeaky and uncomfortable and we chose to leave a day early because of that and the ants. Kim Powell, L&F agent, was amazingly accommodating and always available which contributed to us not canceling and being more comfortable in the unit.

Bare Bones Hospitality
If you plan to book at this place, be prepared to bring EVERYTHING you need. There will be no toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, dish detergent, or potable water (tap only - no filtering system, ice machine, or even a Britta). You will have to go to two locations to check in - the first being the property manager's office (Long & Foster) and the second being Sea Colony's office because you will need to pay extra for Sea Colony parking, beach, and amenities passes. The house was clearly cleaned quickly but not thoroughly enough for an infant to crawl on the floor as there was plenty of gross stuff to find under beds, couches, or in forgotten nooks and crannies. The beautiful porch that is pictured (and is roughly half the square footage of the house) was covered in what looked like a year of accumulated pine needles - so another thing to sweep/clean when you arrive. Don't plan on having dinner out there or anything the first night. The absolute worst part is that you pay extra for "linen service" and what this entails is simply a box of low-quality (rough and thin) towels and sheets dropped at the door. You have to make and strip your own bedding - which is really the last thing you want to do after traveling with kids and checking in late at night or trying to rush out at 10 am. Better off staying in a hotel where at least the beds are made and you can leave the sheets. When you book they will tell you check-in will be anywhere between 2-6 pm (so try planning around that) - they are still using the "Covid excuse" to justify poor customer service. The bed in the master bedroom is memory foam (so gives a sinking feeling). I'm glad we brought our own pillows. The trundle bed in the second bedroom was more comfortable than the day twin (which was hard as a rock). There is only enough hot water for one decent shower at a time so pick which one of you gets warm water. That said, I gave it two stars because after paying for the extra passes, Sea Colony does have very nice amenities such as endless pools, a huge gym, tennis courts, a playground, etc. This particular unit is close to the racket ball courts, playground, miniature golf course, basketball hoop, etc. Honestly, if this place had beds with sheets on them, toilet paper, and some filtered water I wouldn't have written this review but not providing those things was simply unacceptable.
