A comfortable, spacious, and exquisitely decorated century home with unique private outdoor spaces (1000sq.ft deck, Hot Tub, and a Bocce court!).
Luxuriously furnished with every imaginable amenity. The perfect spot for families, couples, or a small group of friends. In 2022 the property underwent a full gut renovation and complete refurnishing. Over $150k was invested, no expense was spared!
Located in the middle of Bloomfield, the heartbeat of The County, walking distance to downtown Bloomfield (less than 5 min walk to Bloomfield Public House) and a 5 second walk to the Millenium Trail! There are 15 wineries within a 10-minute drive. 10 mins driving to Wellington, Picton, and Sandbanks. Most mornings there’s a friendly herd of cattle grazing in the fields across the road. There isn’t a better spot from which to experience the County.
A fully stocked chef’s kitchen will inspire you to live your best vacation life with a European farmhouse inspired design and original 130-year-old hardwood floors. The fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee makers are all new (2022). For the coffee connoisseurs, there’s a Nespresso Machine, drip coffee machine and French press. With enough dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils to host the holiday dinner of your dreams.
For those working (or with teenagers streaming) from home, a mesh Wi-Fi system delivers fast (180mbps/18mbps) reliable connectivity no matter where you are in the house.
Luxurious linens compliment new NOA mattresses to ensure a restful and rejuvenating sleep.
Vacation time in The County is about outdoor living. With a massive 1000 sq.ft. back deck that has separate seating, lounging, and dining zones along with a hot tub (new in 2022), you might never go back inside. From the front porch Van Grootheest’s Farm stand is 200 yards away.
Not to mention your private Bocce Court with solar string lights for those long summer nights (bocce set included). And to top it off a fire pit with 1500 lbs local rocks for seating at the back of the property.
We have outdoor perimeter security cameras, an exterior ring doorbell, and a NoiseAware sound level monitoring system that does not record but will alert the property manager of excessive noise levels.
There is no smoking on the property. We welcome your well-behaved pets for an additional pet fee, please inquire for details. You are responsible for picking up after your pets, and for any damage they may cause.

We have fantastic neighbors and a strict no party’s rule. If there is excessive noise, or any noise complaints after 10pm, you may be immediately removed, and the remainder of your reservation cancelled with no refund.

Prince Edward County is a very special place. You may find yourself here one weekend, falling in love and moving permanently, a large number of people have. Affectionately known as "The County" the area is comprised of small villages and hamlets scattered amongst farm fields and quaint shops. Located in Lake Ontario you will fall in love with the people, the food, nature, and art. The area hosts 3 provincial parks and over 800km of shoreline.
Getting Around:
A car is required to explore Prince Edward County's full potential.

A rental agreement with Places in PEC is required to be signed, it is an e-signature document that will be sent though the booking channel, please check your spam folder. Once returned your booking is 100% confirmed. This is requires as we are a member of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario and we do not own the property we manage it on behalf of the owners.
Interaction with Guests:
Here at Places in PEC we understand what it takes to have a great vacation and to create lasting memories. We make it our business to find a vacation property that meets all of your needs and goes above and beyond your expectations. By providing a variety of vacation properties we can ensure that your vacation is a success no matter where you decide to stay. A rental agreement is required to be signed and returned within 48 hours of booking. The agreement is required as we manage the properties and do not own them. We are a member of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario and it is a requirement by them and the insurance.
