Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis just 15 mins from Greytown or Masterton and 25 from Martinborough.
The house is a haven, down a long private driveway opening to stunning views over the Gladstone vineyards. Next door to Urlar vineyard, you're also just a walk or cycle away from 3 more vineyards, Leafyridge Olives and the Cliffs swimming hole.
There's a cosy fire for winter, a fire pit for summer star gazing, four poster bed, kitchen, BBQ, and a fast EV charger available.
The house is secluded and opens out to huge views over the local vineyards - and the sky is dark enough to see the Milky Way! It's best suited to one or two couples.
There's a large open plan living/dining/kitchen room, a bathroom with shower over bath and two bedrooms. One has a super king four poster, the other a comfortable queen bed. Outside there's space to eat and also to soak up the sunshine or sit around the fire pit.
The house is on the upper level with large lawns and shady trees which you're welcome to explore. On the lower level there is a lake (where the owners live) which you can access via a goat track down the hill.
It's only a short drive to a great swimming hole and picnic area by the river (or a 20 min walk). Masterton's supermarkets, shopping, parks, pubs and bars are a 12 min drive. Carterton's cafes and supermarkets are about the same. Greytown is 15 mins away and Martinborough 25. The airfield at Hood is nearby and the WW1 planes fly overhead often.
