Storm Meadows Club B316 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a stylish studio condo, with great amenities, in a ski in ski out location. Condo features include an open layout, wood burning fireplace, King size bed, updated Kitchen and Bathroom, and comfy furniture. On site amenities include an indoor ski locker room, laundry, heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, saunas, and tennis court. The Property:
This condo used to be like many others in the development, a cramped, compartmentalized 1-Bedroom. Then the property owner removed the walls to really open up the space. The bathroom is still private, of course, but the King bed is separated from the living area by only a retractable curtain. When closed, you have visual privacy in the bedroom area. When open, the condo feels as it should - spacious and open. The living area has two matching leather futons that are quite comfy. Each of them lays flat to create a Full size bed that easily accommodates an adult or child. The condo is ideal for one couple, and the maximum occupancy of the property is listed at 2, but up to 4 people might be allowed, if you make a written request prior to making a reservation.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It features custom concrete countertops and lots of storage. There are barstools at the peninsula and a dining table for 4 that is also a great place to play cards or set up your laptop. The covered balcony includes a gas grill and a nice spot to enjoy your coffee or an apres-ski beverage. In the private bathroom, you'll find a large vanity with plenty of counter space, plus a makeup station and more storage cabinets. The shower includes a nice high main showerhead as well as a wand.

The space has lots of little upgrades. Hardwood floors and colorful mountain art add a tasteful warm touch to balance with the condo's contemporary colors and styles. Centered between the two leather futons, a large HDTV mounted above the fireplace makes the living area perfect for entertainment and conversation. The exposed beams and tongue and groove ceilings have been painted to brighten up the space, and really bring together the style and design.

Location:
The Storm Meadows Club Condos have a great location, but this particular building has the best of the club condo buildings. It is the easiest to ski in and out from. When you grab your skis from the locker room and walk outside, you'll find the beginner level “Right O Way” trail is just 20 to 30 meters down a gentle slope. Put on your skis and off you go. When skiing home for lunch, you can come back up that gentle “ski out” slope, but you don't have to. Exit the Right O Way trail at the sign, just a bit farther up the trail, and you'll have a flat to slightly downhill ski access trail that allows you to ski right back to the building with minimal effort. If you're visiting in summer, you are right next to biking and hiking trails. The national forest is right out your door. Watch out for moose or other wildlife!

Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We will provide you with arrival instructions, and answer any specific questions you might have. Accessing this property is easy, thanks to the elevator. If you prefer stairs, you would only need to go up one flight from the entrance level to the condo level. The ski locker room is on the ski access level, one flight down from the entrance. So, access is easy and the elevator just makes it that much easier to get your luggage, skis or groceries where they belong. Parking is provided for one vehicle. The parking is an outdoor lot where spaces are not assigned, but a parking permit is required. Trailers and RVs are not allowed. If you will need parking for more than one vehicle, a trailer or RV, please contact us to discuss off site options. In ski season, a vehicle is hardly needed and many guests may find that saving the cost of gas or a rental car is the way to go, since in ski season, there is a free shuttle from the development to the Gondola Transit Center, where you can explore the whole base area on foot, or hop on a free bus to head to other parts of town. In spring, summer, and fall, of course you will probably want to head outside of town to various lakes, parks, trailheads, wilderness areas, etc, so having a vehicle is recommended.

*4WD or AWD recommendation. The roads which lead to and from this property are not particularly difficult to navigate, and are generally well maintained. In summer, pretty much any vehicle will do. However, please note that your route to the condo includes curves and hills. Your route to the Steamboat Springs area may include a mountain pass. So, when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on.
