Our recently renovated mid-century modern ranch offers an inviting place for travelers to relax while visiting the Triad. The home is located on the 4th tee box of the prestigious Sedgefield Country Club's Donald Ross Golf Course, host of the PGA's Wyndham Championship each August. It offers a formal living room, 3 bedrooms - each with queen beds, 2 1/2 baths and a gourmet, eat-in kitchen with seating for 5 and a wood-burning fireplace. From the kitchen, step down into the open concept dining room with seating for 6. The dining room and a sunken great room with another fireplace and a wet bar are filled with sunlight from walls of glass offering beautiful views of the expansive and private backyard and golf course. There are beautiful, custom hardwood floors throughout. An outdoor patio with casual and dinning seating for 6 adds living space.
The property is conveniently located to the High Point Furniture Market, Greensboro Coliseum, Sportsplex, Aquatics Center, Sedgefield Coutry Club, Grandover Resort and the White Oak Amphitheater. Just a 5-minute drive from both I-85 and I-40 make traveling to High Point, Winston-Salem and Burlington for functions or graduations at High Point University, Wake Forest or Elon, not to mention any of the numerous colleges and universities in Greensboro, easily accessible. The Piedmont Triad Airport is approximately 10 miles away.

Tommy was born and raised in Greensboro and I moved here from Ohio in 1981. We're both retired and split our time between Greensboro and our 2nd home in Topsail Beach, NC. Tommy owned a hardwood flooring company and now spends the majority of his time sailing the 27' Sharpie sailboat he built. I enjoy bike riding and paddle boarding while at the beach.
Why they chose this property
Sedgefield is a special, established neighborhood with large, private lots. It's one of the oldest neighborhoods in Greensboro. We love the location which feels off the beaten path, but is actually close to everything!
What makes this property unique
Our property abuts to the ladies 4th tee on the Sedgefield Country Club golf course. The course is private, but offers lovely views from the back of our home. It's a fantastic location for the annual Wyndham Championship, the club's member/guest tournament or any of the other functions held at the club. We are also convenient to the many universities in the area (High Point University, UNCG, A&T, Guilford College, Guilford Technical College, Elon, Wake Forrest), downtown Greensboro, Tanger Center, Greensboro Coliseum, the Aqautic Center and the High Point International Furniture Market is only 9 miles and 16 minutes away. We're 4 minutes from either Interstates 85 or 73 (the Greensboro Loop), which makes getting to anywhere in the Triad effortless.
