This newly remodeled home is centrally located for adventure and fun. With easy access to both National Parks this location is a prime starting point for all your adventurous days. A fifteen minute drive gets you to one of the many boat launches on the river or some of the best ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trails in the country. The home is very private, located down a one mile long driveway with only a few neighbors in a miles reach. Enjoy quiet days and dark starry nights. Every room in the house offers great views of the surrounding area including the Tetons. There is so much more than the two National Parks. Be sure to visit Mesa Falls which is just 15 minutes up stream and Harriman State Park, another hardly known jewel of Idaho.

Great place to stay. Enjoyed the view of the Tetons and the outdoor seating. House was clean and basic things were provided. "Next to the Henry's Fork River" was a misleading - no access.
We had an amazing time in Ashton at the Farmhouse. The views do not do this property justice. Located between both National Parks. (Approx 1 1/2 hrs to Yellowstone and Grand Teton). Do not let that be a detractor. The views on the drive are exceptional. I would highly recommend staying at the Farmhouse
As a family ranging from ages 12-75, this house was absolutely perfect! There are plenty of areas in the house, along with the beautiful porches with views to find peace and also gather as a family. This was the perfect location to visit Tetons and Yellowstone. We spent a lot of time in the West Yellowstone area as well - an unexpected highlight was a spontaneous decision to go to a rodeo in West Yellowstone and it did not disappoint! The owners were incredibly responsive before and during our visit. They immediately responded and do everything they can to make sure you have the best stay! It's obvious how much they love the area and home and want to share it.
Loved the property but feel ad was misleading. The river was not as close as portrayed. Also the house had no ac which was not mentioned in listing. The ac may not matter most of time however; it was warm for our entire trip. The house was 85 degrees inside for most of our trip.
Incredible views of the Tetons and surrounding ranges with vast farmland wrapping the property. Home had ample space for our family of 4. Selected this location as a home base while traveling to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Although we drove over an hour to get to parks, the trips were scenic. Especially enjoyed the drive through Targhee National Forest. Home is clean and well maintained. Stocked with necessary supplies for cooking. Perfect location for finding some peace at end of busy park days.
Our stay was nothing short of serene, peaceful, and comfortable! I wish I could have stayed longer. It was the perfect place to rest between day trips. Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.
The description of the property is completely accurate! We had a wonderful stay and plan to recommend it to our family and friends. Ashton is a great little community with several very good places to eat.
The views were beautiful from any window. We usually left the house at sunrise and returned around sunset and had views of both from any window. One night we saw a very large buck with a full rack prancing in the field close to the house. You could also see the Grand Teton mountains in the distance. This location was great because we were about the same distance from Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons which enabled us to visit both. We also spent one day exploring the Ashton area and came across a small dock where you could feed trout in a stream (I forget the name). The trout were large and plentiful so if you like fishing... We also visited Mesa falls and we were so glad we did. Mike and Aimee were very responsive leading up to our visit. The only negative comment I have is that on the first level there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. If you didn't have the room with the bathroom, you had to go through someone else's bedroom to get to it. Otherwise, it was a great place to come home to after traveling 10-12 hours a day through the parks. Highly recommend staying here.
This home was GREAT! It was in the perfect location for us to travel to both Yellowstone and the Tetons! Our family enjoyed this stay, the owners were having a garage built and the contractor and employees were wonderful also, on giving us ideas on things to do in the area!
The house is beautiful and very well appointed. Perfect location for seeing Harriman State Park and Yellowstone. Mike, the owner is very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our time at this house. The views were amazing. The house was just as presented in the listing. The hosts were easily contacted and gave helpful info. This was a once in a lifetime trip, and we’re glad we stayed here. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
Hosts are extremely responsive and kind. The house? Beautiful, clean, amazing views, we even saw a cute skunk on the property one day (nothing got sprayed). Everything about this stay was fantastic. I'd stay here again. Thank you Mike and Aimee for letting us stay and being amazing hosts!
I booked this looking for a peaceful place to relax after hiking and fishing and it was perfect. The views around the house are amazing, there are no sounds of other people, the house is spacious and close to town for a quick forgotten item. Very clean, easy check out and great communication with the owner.
What a lovely property to stay at! It was nicely located midway between grand Tetons and Yellowstone national parks. It was peaceful, relaxing and some of the loveliest night skies I’ve seen in years. Great place to unwind after a day of exploring. The recommendations in the guest book were fantastic, mesa falls was a great experience.
We had a great trip! The photos are an accurate representation of the property. It was a perfect location for visiting Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The house was very clean. The property owner/manager was very responsive leading up to the vacation and during our stay.
This home was perfect for our family vacation! It was exactly as described. Plenty of room for our family of five. We enjoyed our stay. We spent several days in the national parks both Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Trails Inn restaurant is a great local place for breakfast! I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.
We were visiting Yellowstone National Park and wanted to stay somewhere quiet, and this was the perfect spot. The house was very comfortable for our family of 6, had sweeping 360 degree views of farms for miles and the icy Mountains in the distance. We would definitely come back for the quiet, the views and the comfort.
This property is beautiful, peaceful and in a great location. It is very well stocked with amenities and is so clean. The views are amazing! Honestly, this house is so nice it made it difficult to leave..wish we lived there. We were able to visit Yellowstone, Tetons and Montana State University in Bozeman from here. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return!
We loved staying at the Yellowstone farmhouse! It was an hour drive to the West entrance to Yellowstone which gave us some time to enjoy more beautiful scenery each day! The house was immaculate and super clean and perfect for our family of 4. We loved the views of the Tetons as we played cards each night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make meals from the groceries we bought at the store in town. This house is the absolute perfect place and would recommend anyone stay there!

Why they chose this property
This is a great location for starting day trips into either of the National Parks. Along with easy access to the park system you are in a prime location for hunting, fishing, ATV trails, snowmobiling, rafting, you name it.
What makes this property unique
With only a few neighbors that are about a mile away, this property offers a comfortable level of seclusion. If you are looking for a place to unplug from society temporarily this is it. If you forgot to pack something or simply miss people, the cute little town of Ashton is only 10 minutes away.
