Great place to stay in a central location, large and clean. Bed was super comfortable! We did a lot of walking in the Garden District and loved all the Halloween decorations. Streetcar was right there if you wanted to go to the French Quarter. Thank you Del!

Such an amazing time! Property was very well maintained and conveniently located for street car, grocery, and walking distance for garden district areas. Parking was easy to navigate, only 20 mins from airport. We stay in NOLA alot and this was by far our best rental yet! The claw bathtub was definitely worth the stay!

We were in New Orleans to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The accommodations were excellent, clean and comfortable, close to the cable car and adequate parking. We got to enjoy some beautiful sites and wonderful food. Lovely property, gracious host, that made our stay memorable.

Pros: -awesome location and value-spacious -friendly neighbors -free parking ( seems sketchy at first but we had no issues with anything or anybody)Cons:Check in- due to the host being out of the country and our code not being setup for the communicated early check in, we had a very hard time gaining access to the property. It took about an hour and a collaborative effort between VRBO and I to get a working code for entry. None of the provided numbers were reachable and the host’s voicemail was full. Fruit flies- there is an active fruit fly issue in the room. My wife and I killed about 15 flies each and were swarmed each time we ate at the table. A fruit fly trap is definitely needed. Pillows- suuuuuper flat pillows, more variety is needed. Bed was comfy though thankfully. Shower- needs a removable shower head. I get the old city old pipes deal but if the pressure is gunna be that low it’d be best to have a removable shower headWe do recommend staying here but the cons list should be handled to make it more enjoyable overall

Very sorry that our customer service was not on point for your stay. The early check-in shouldn't have been a problem, as we made arrangements with housekeeping, but unfortunately, we didn't change the check-in time in the lock. The fruit flies issue isn't one that we've had before, but we would have addressed it at the time. Other than the check-in faux pas, we would have gladly provided more pillows, had maintenance eliminate the fruit flies, and changed the shower head. We haven't had that complaint before, but at your suggestion, we will look into the removable shower option for future guests and pillow replacements as well. We strive to make every guest's stay special, so again, apologies for missing the mark.

The unit was very clean and the location was very close to the streetcar. The lock to get into the main door worked very well after we learned how to use it (had to push check mark after inserting the code) from the neighbor upstairs.we had no problem finding a parking spot near the condo.

Spacious accommodation in a wonderfully restored mansion. Great location - just blocks away from the streetcar and neighborhood restaurants. Proximity of the streetcar made it possible for us to explore and meet friends without using our rental car. Our destination on our next trip to NOLA.

We had a wonderful stay at Del's property in New Orleans! It's a beautiful, elegant, roomy space, nicely located in the Garden District right near the St Charles trolley line. The king-sized bed is very comfortable. One touch we really appreciated is the drop down ironing board in the kitchenette. Very helpful when you want to freshen up your clothes on a longish stay. Del was very responsive and helpful to any questions we had. We hope to be able to return someday.

Del Marsalis was a great host. I had the opportunity to sit with him and had a fascinating conversation about him and his remarkable family, one of the premier musical families of a great American musical city. The apartment had everything a visitor could want all with a great location.

Delightful and charming

We loved this place and the neighborhood. Friendly people and impromptu concerts in the parking lot! Especially appreciate the host letting us change our reservations when a family member became ill. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home Base for Jazzfest

The suite was clean, comfortable and perfectly located for Jazzfest. Several great restaurants within 5 minutes, short walk to either the bus or the ST Charles streetcar line. The hosts were available to answer questions for me as I was planning the visit.
