We absolutely loved this property! It was right across the road from the river which was great for easily walking to the river! We loved that the yard was completely fenced in with a beautiful front porch and deck for us yo relax and let the dogs outside to enjoy the view of the river! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Great location

We had so much fun on our river trip with close friends. The location was great and we had plenty of room for the 7 of us. I do wish there was another shower but we made due. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen so make sure you do a thorough job cleaning after cooking.

River weekend

We enjoyed the home, there was plenty of space for our group and the kids loved the deck. The river felt fantastic, and it's a very short walk. There is only one shower which was not a problem for our group. There are two toilets which worked well for us.

Nice River Property

We had a great time at this house. There is riverfront access. The A/C worked great which was a huge bonus. It was very clean and in a great location for our river needs. Long gone are the days of us tent & RV camping at the Guadalupe. This is the best way to enjoy the river! Thanks for hosting us!

Family time

We all enjoyed it. My only complaint was the stinginess of toilet paper and paper towels. When you are paying that much for so few days it seems like yall could be a little more generous. There were 12 of us.
Response from VrboOwner on Mar 17, 2020
Hi Melanie, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! I apologize that you felt there was not enough toilet paper or paper towels. We do send out an email prior to your arrival letting you know what is provided in the house so you can bring more if necessary, but I will speak to the cleaning crew about possibly stocking more. I hope we will see you again next year! Thanks, NBE

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice experience renting this house. It had everything we needed! 2 families (5 kids) fit well. The futons were comfortable for the extra sleeping areas, and they had dark curtains in the den where the futons are so that was a good touch! Kitchen well equiped.Easy access to the river and practically right next door is Bezdeks tube rental which made it super easy!

Lazy at the Lazy A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed the house. Very clean on arrival with nice amenities. The one item that was off turning for me (elderly) was that the river was so much below the house that trips back up the hill were very hard. I think the pictures and descriptions should discuss this. Overall though it was 8 of 10.

GLAMPING AT ITS BEST!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VERY CLEAN - our version of glamping as it was an out dated cabin with a few updates. I would recommend newer pots and pans, replace/fix the shower head and check the games as most were incomplete. But overall, it was nice. The river front was a steep walk up and the river bank grass were overgrown. The river was perfect, not to deep or too shallow.

Nice, mostly quiet place to unwind

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a good property that could be excellent with a bit of updating. The house has a huge yard that's great for kids and dogs, and the river is across the road. The only real bummer here is the master bedroom has the ac air handler in a closet in the bedroom, and it's really, really loud. Overall, I'd say best for big parties rather than a quiet getaway for a couple or few.
