The furniture needs replaced. The cabin was wonderful. But the table and chairs were very rickety. Quiet and serene. The dock needs fixed. But the fishing was great.the bungalow had a smell. Didn't sleep in there. With a few updates it would be amazing. I am grateful that we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you Cyndi.

If you want/need rest/relaxation, this is the spot. I don't recommend staying here in the dead of summer. Window units don't cool very well, so it stays hot inside until well after the sun goes down. The boat slip/fishing pier on the property is not usable. My husband and I fought spiders & mosquitoes inside for the first 2 days. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Being pet friendly is a plus. The host was amazing/readily available.

Hi Staci, Thank you for staying with us and for the kind words about my hosting. I’m sorry the summer heat and insects affected your comfort — we’ll double‑check the AC units, as no one has reported issues before. Those bug’s were most likely mayflies that appear seasonally near the water. There are mosquitos, but the mayflies are highly attracted to light and will definitely come in is a door is open. I appreciate your feedback.

Everything was just as described - right down to the great fishing!! The house was so comfortable and is located so close (but not too close) to all our extra activities. We are already looking forward to our next stay!
