Thank you Donald for your comments. We are grateful that you and your traveling companions enjoyed our location, condo and each other's company in our great city. Our housekeeping staff is spot on to keeping the property clean and comfortable. We'll let them know you sent these compliments to them. I believe Barbara & Brittany also took care of you throughout your reservation process, from first contact to any issues and follow up. Thanks for the nod to those ladies, too. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Canisha and friends for the 5 Star Review. It was great hosting you and traveling companions in town during Essence Festival. Always a great time. I am so glad that we could get you moved to another condo when the air conditioner quit working in this hot and humid New Orleans summer. Thanks for being understanding when things just happen. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Kellie for visiting and thought this was a perfect location. It is truly a great place to be, close to all attractions, so many eateries, not in the French Quarter that are close and tucked away in this quiet Arts & Warehouse District of the City. We know how hot it can be here, so yes, we leave you a few cold beverages in the fridge. VacayNOLA

Thank you Kurt and friends of King Arthur, All Hail the King! We loved hosting you and are thrilled you will make a return visit for Mardi Gras 2024. We are so fortunate to have these 2 top notch ladies working for us, for this exact reason. They truly love what they do. We enjoyed having you to VacayNOLA!

We appreciate your visit to "The Julia" and VacayNOLA.

Thanks Chris, we think our guest are awesome, too! I'll let housekeeping know you appreciated the attention to detail in the cleanliness of the condo. Although not a common occurrence, we are glad you let us know of the mishap someone had in the hallway, one of our residents also found some of the same in their potted plants on the walkway, which our dedicated housekeepers for the building also cleaned each plant's leaves and stems of the vomit. It is ashamed that had to happen, but a lot of guest to New Orleans, in general, just don't realize, we pour hard here! So glad to know you were not disappointed. Give us a call when your group is ready to make another visit. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Laura and family for your time in writing this review. We are excited you enjoyed the condo, location and cleanliness of Margaux in The Julia Building, one of the original Thirteen Sisters of Julia, built in late 1820's. We do have cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and drinkware, however, when it comes to items like cooking oils, we do not leave items like that. It may have been contaminated by a previous guest, and we don't want any harm to your family. That is why we offer a grocery concierge service, we pick up your paid for, ordered groceries from a local market, and place them in the condo, fridge, freezer or pantry, so your items that you are used to will be there during your stay dates. That would include any plastic wrap, aluminum foils, spices or seasonings. We do leave each guest 6 bottles of water and 4 Gatorades, so you can start hydrating after traveling. As for the bathrooms, we leave minimum of 2 rolls of toilet tissue, travel size conditioning shampoo and two individually wrapped soaps. We also include what many vacation rentals do not, dishwasher tablets, a small bottle of Dawn dish detergent and sponge, 3 packs of French Market Coffee in 12 cup packets for the drip coffeemakers and a few filters, with a handful of non-dairy cream, a roll of paper towels, a few trash bags and Tide pods and fabric softener sheets, for when you eat out or in general you can wash any stains out of your clothes, so those don't have to go home dirty.

Thank you Doreen for your commitment to travel to see a music event at the Smoothie King Center, which is not a bad walk from the condo to the Arena. Thank you for the 5 Star Review, as it shows what a wonderfully caring staff we have, that with the first communications, we offered you some advise on additional attractions and events, even the grocery near by, to the quick response to your Internet needing to be rebooted. We hope you will consider visiting again, another concert, Carnival Season & Mardi Gras, or one of our many music festivals that last for an entire weekend. Contact Barbara to get your Return Guest Discount promo codes before making your future reservation in New Orleans. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Nicole and family, even the little furry one, for the 5 Star Review. We were excited to host over the Holiday Season. There is something magical about being in New Orleans during Christmas, the festivals, celebrations, lights, decorations or music? Perhaps it is a fantastic Réveillon Dinner at any of the various restaurants. I mean, we are known for our foods, too! Looking forward to another stay with VacayNOLA on your future visits. Thank you for the kind words on our corner condo that overlooks St. Charles Ave. & Julia Street. We kept the original building features of exposed brick, fireplaces and mantles, weight & pulley windows and added the modern conveniences of marble bathrooms, granite counters in the kitchen with stainless appliances, and flat screen TV in each room. We love our city and use local, French Market Coffee, cooled waters in the fridge, and who doesn't love to take home some Mardi Gras beads when you leave New Orleans? VacayNOLA

Thank you Kate for your kind words. This location is really a perfect spot for anyone not wanting the Bourbon Street scene, everyday, maybe only one day and explore all other sights, sounds and foods this wonderfully quirky city has to offer. So glad your traveling party has a great time and we welcome you back for another visit. Once is never enough! VacayNOLA

Thanks Toni, we are glad you could have a girls trip without the kids to relax, unwind and have a great time, although we didn't see the doctor's orders, you gotta do you! Give us a call when you are ready to make a return visit, we offer discounts for returning guest. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Bennett and friends for the 5 Star Review of "Margeaux" condo for your stay. It is really a hidden gem in the Arts & Warehouse District of New Orleans, far enough away from the chaos of Bourbon Street yet still an easy walk there and other attractions around downtown. Our housekeeping krewes work very hard to keep the condo clean and fresh for each new guest, and they enjoy hearing that they are appreciated. Contact us before your future visit to our beloved City to get the most current Return Guest Discount to VacayNOLA!

Thank you Angelica for the 5 Star Review. This is a great hidden gem of a wonderful place to stay when in New Orleans, Essence Fest or Saints' Football games at the Superdome, as this condo is so very centrally located to all of these venues and French Quarter. So glad to hear that you liked the condo, décor, it still has all of that classis New Orleans charm of 1830's original exposed brink. We love the 2 restaurants to either side of The Julia, True Food Kitchen, but mostly The Little Easy for those great pressed po' boys and whatever adult beverage you choose, because it not a far walk to get back to the condo, if you have too many. It's not to early to make your 2023 reservations. Give us a call to get your Return Guest Discount Promo Code for future reservations. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Lou for the time for this review. New Years in NOLA, what a great time. The city is still decorated for the Holidays and lots of festivities for Sugar Bowl are going on. We are sorry that we didn't make your marks for a 5*, but do agree that the entryway was a bit messy, as we had 2 long term tenants move out that weekend, so there was a lot of marks, furniture moved that hit the corner of the hallway, knocking off the drywall, and probably still a lot of household trash and I think they even left rugs and a sofa in the courtyard trash area that we had to get rid of. We had the key fobs getting re-coded for 2022 and didn't get them back before your arrival date. "Little Easy" is the locally owned and operated bar & grill just below the condos and Brian is a character. He has some really good food, too! We eat there at least once a week or more depending on the pressed po-boy sandwiches he has for the daily specials. We are elated you still had a positive overall enjoyment of These historic condos of The Julia, in this condo one of the "Original Thirteen Sisters of Julia Row". VacayNOLA!

Thank you Margaret and traveling party for the 5 Star Review. This is a hidden gem of a spacious condo in the Arts & Warehouse District of New Orleans. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, but not a far walk to get there. Is there street noise from St. Charles Ave and the Green Streetcars, yes, usually between 3:30 PM and 7 PM as most of the downtown working crowds leave for the evening. But that is nothing compared to this being the perfect location during Mardi Gras, where the parades roll past this condo. We have plenty of restaurants, bars, bar & grills, from upscale to hole in the wall places to eat all around this neighborhood. We would love to host you again, contact us before making those future reservations to get the Return Guest Discount promo code. It wouldn't be a successful JazzFest without some rain and mud! VacayNOLA!

Thank you for the 5 Star Review. We are overjoyed you had a great time in this hidden gem in the Arts District of New Orleans. Right on St. Charles Ave, this location gets you to so much of the City; WWII Museum, shopping, dining and all that the French Quarter has to offer. A special thank you for the house out to our fantastic housekeeping staff. They really want to make the place clean and inviting for all to enjoy while you are here having a great time in The Big Easy! If you would like to come back again, maybe rent one of the condos that offer a balcony, give us a call to get the Return Guest Discount Promo Code for your next reservation. VacayNOLA!
