Beautiful and well equipped cabin. The owners have carefully thought of everything you would need for your stay. Our family had a wonderful and relaxing time at the cabin. My husband especially liked the hot tub. The loft area is ideal for children or a second couple to enjoy privacy. Bearclaw cabin is definitely on our list to revisit. Thank you Rebecca for creating this retreat.
Absolutely loved the property! It was very secluded ( which was a plus) and we enjoyed the scenery! It was nice to get away and relax for a few days and this was just the spot to do it. Glad we picked this place.
We had an amazing time! We went to see the waterfall and the pond and the views were so beautiful! The hot tub worked great and the washing machines were very helpful. The house was very clean and very beautiful. They even have a ton of movie and game options available in case you need to stay inside! We definitely want to come back to stay another time and I reccommend staying at this home! The host was very nice and messaged back when I asked questions. She even gave me recommendations when I was confused about some things!
Beautiful and peaceful location. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We made s'mores at the fire pit and rested on the porch. Owners directions were easy to follow.
Great property. Very secluded and you can't doordash. Loved it! No one to bother you. So quiet and peaceful. Even had a bear come to the front door. Convenient to all attractions. Thanks for the amazing time. Will definitely stay here again.
The hosts here really thought of everything for the kitchen. The hot tub and fireplace were truly a godsend after a long day on the slopes! Highly recommend!
Perfect for a quiet getaway! The loft and upstairs room is great for kids. Short drive into town and nearby trails. There is creek access but the rainy weather made it a challenge to get down. The pond was accessible and had a few frogs. Would be a nice property for a few families to stay together. Host was responsive for any questions. Grab firewood on your way!
Fantastic cabin in the woods! Clear communications, clean secluded cabin with all the comforts for a cozy stay. What a beautiful, quiet cabin to spend time together and disconnect. Thank you for having us.
We were looking for a quiet cabin in the woods, and this was exactly what we were looking for and more! The host was communicative, the cabin was clean and cozy, and the fire place hot tub were wonderful. The location was also great - it was the perfect balance of feeling tucked away while also being close to town. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon!
Property is secluded and naturally gorgeous. Cabin is in the middle of nowhere yet close to Banner Elk and Boone. Near water for fishing. Everything in cabin is as advertised. Very clean. Comfy beds. No complaints!
My wife and I stayed two nights, and I was very remote and peaceful.

Host was great. Cabin is very nice and secluded even though there is another cabin on the property. If you like being in the mountains and in the woods, this is the place!
This was our second stay in this home and we hope to return next year. It was clean, inviting, comfortable, and well-appointed. So much so that we spent most of our time hanging out at the cabin rather than the usual touristy things though we did do some of that as well.
