About this property

Amish-Built Cabin in the Driftless Area

We are close to many area attractions including the Wisconsin River, House on the Rock, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, The American Players Theater, Wisconsin Dells, and much more! The cabin is an ideal place to relax for both couples or families who would like to escape the city and spend some time in nature.
This beautiful Amish built cabin is nestled on a wooded hilltop perfect for relaxing. Leave the hustle and bustle of life and come relax at the cabin.
This clean, 1,000 sq. ft. cabin has hardwood floors, electricity, running water, a refrigerator, gas stove, coffee maker and microwave, and table with chairs. The cabin has 1 bedroom on the main floor with queen size bed, a futon in the living room, and 2 bedrooms in a loft with a total of 3 twin beds - the loft is an open area with no wall/divider between the 2 bedrooms. The cabin is decorated with rustic theme with a few mounted animals in the living area. The cabin has a LP fireplace and window air conditioners that make the property available year-round.

Towels, bedding, dishes, chairs, utensils, and some pots and pans are provided.
Full cabin access with porch, yard, fire pit and gas grill. Wooded seclusion on all sides.
Just a note, there is no Wifi at the cabin.

"Bedrooms 2 & 3" are not private bedrooms, they are in an open loft and are connected by a walkway.

The TV is only for watching DVDs or movies, there is no antenna or cable TV.

There is some firewood at the cabin but if you plan on using much wood please bring your own or purchase some in the area. Thank You!

Fishing Trip
Great cabin, fit our needs perfectly. Location was great for where we were going fishing during the day. Very clean and comfortable cabin. Host was very responsive to emails and questions. Plenty of room for 5 people. We will defiantly be staying there again.

Exactly as described, everything we wanted.
It was exactly as described, fairly priced, very clean and easy to navigate and understand. Everything you could have needed was supplied. It may have been user error, but I believe the propane did run out. It was lit for a while, but would not relight. I hope to come back again.

birthday weekend
Spent the weekend with my son, daughter-in-law and grandson for his 16th birthday. We loved the cabin-so cute and cozy. Very comfortable. We enjoyed playing games, big campfires, movies and exploring the beautiful area. Went hiking, to House on the Rock, and checked out all the cute little towns. A lovely weekend.

Get away
Our trip turned into helping my sister move. We enjoyed the cabin after a very stressful days. It was very quiet and peaceful. Just what us ladies needed to get away from the move. It was very clean and cozy. Loved all the amenities that were available to us. Julie, was very nice and easy to get ahold of when needed. Thanks for a warm place to stay after very long days of packing and moving. Thank you. Lorenna Winger Elkhorn, Wis
