We take guest feedback seriously as we are always striving for a truly exceptional our guest experience, but this review leaves out a very significant part of what actually transpired. Following this two-month reservation with a surprise of two pets which is outside of our pet policy, our team discovered extensive property damage, including pet waste throughout the home and patio, excessive trash, damaged furnishings drapes, bedding, patio area, irrigation system, windows and doors. These conditions required multiple visits from professional cleaning companies, along with repairs and replacements. The resulting in thousands of dollars in costs, all of which were documented. Requesting reasonable restitution for damage beyond normal wear and tear is not a threat; it is an understandable expectation when guests are entrusted with someone’s home. The owner upgraded the Wi-Fi modem at the beginning of the stay and aside from a very brief interruption during that transition, the Wi-Fi worked properly for the entirety of this guests' stay. That temporary interruption does not excuse the condition in which the property was returned. We stand behind our team’s professionalism, our documentation, and the standards we maintain for every property in our care. Thankfully this hasn’t happened before and although restoring the home required significant time, extensive professional cleaning, repairs, and replacement furnishings, we have fully returned it to its pre-stay condition. This was accomplished through the efforts of our team and the owner, without assistance from these guests. It is deeply saddening that there are guests out there like this that have a blatant disregard for a home they are entrusted with.
