Natural Angler Cabin Matagorda TX Colorado River

The next to the last house on the Colorado River, and very close to the beach and jetty pier. Enjoy fishing on our pier, and a night spot light provides good fishing at night, especially sand trout during the summer. It is fully furnished with all kitchen utensils, and linens and towels are provided. We have free high speed Starlink satellite internet access, YouTube TV service, and a washer and dryer is available for your convenience. In front of the house is a creek which runs out to East Matgorda, and is perfect for kayakers, and a great place to do some crabbing, also.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Extremely dirty place. Sewage water under sink leaking in kitchen. Sand all over table and couches. Moldy AC. Trash in yard. Rotten chicken in dock and in crab trans. Ken , the owner was not willing to fix the issue and basically told me I was lying, then he blamed the maid. Horrible and trashy place with owners that are irresponsible in their dealings.

Had a good stay. I had forgotten where the downstairs lights were located and Ken helped me find them. The cabin has all your basic needs. This is our second time staying in this cabin and we will be booking again soon. Great place!

Enjoyed fishing on the pier, extra special because the fish were biting. Loved watching the boats go by. We didn’t cook because we were just there to relax so we fixed sandwiches and ate breakfast at Cassidy’s.

Great Locale for access to Matagorda Water

Great location for access to Colorado, East bay, and the beach/surf. Apportioned well for fishermen. Comfortable sleeping arrangements! Great deck area. Would definitely stay there again.
