Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in 214 numerous times and love whale watching from the lanai and listening to the ocean. The unit hasn't been modernized, but it is quaint and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. We love the location of the Hale Kai. It's so convenient to be near the shops and the park. The pool is lovely. The Sunset Conch shell blowing is a delightful tradition.

Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great.The only problem we had was that there was no management available for the pool and lounging area .Some kids and there parents had no regard for the facilities or the rest of the people that used made it nearly impossible to use while these people were in attendance.

Hale Kai is a beautiful place in Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay although unit 214 needs renovation. In the future we will probably stay another units. It’s unfortunate that the orders did not up to air-conditioning in each of the units.
