Very pleasant stay. The room is big and clean, and we are on 5th floor which is just able to have sea view. The scenery is so good and enjoyable. The location of this hotel is also a plus as it is near the tourist area while it still keeps the tranquility.

Ocean front room was amazing could have sat on the patio all day , great beach just steps away , plenty of dining options , tourist shops and just an over all fun area we hope to return again in the future thank you hotel Monpa for a wonderful experience !

It was just fine. Nothing special. It was clean and the staff was very friendly, even without speaking their language. It has a kitchenette, but you have to rent utensils, plates, cookware, etc. The comforters were outdated. It’s not luxury by any means, but it’s close to shopping and restaurants. The parking lot is small however and you may need to find parking in nearby public lots.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay. Although it was a condominium patrons had to rent everything from cooking utensils to Band-Aids. How do you rent a Band-Aid? Are you supposed to give them back when you’re done charging people for small amenities such as cooking utensils and so forth seem to be very petty. I probably will not book there ever again.

Hotel in American Village, Chatan

This hotel is located in American Village, Chatan. Also a stone away from Sunset Beach. There are many restaurants in the area but they are overpriced. Our room had a microwave and small kitchen. There is a big shopping mall near by so you can prepare your own meal if you like.

We have a twin-beds room. Both mattresses were very uncomfortable to sleep in. In fact, the sofa bed for the 3rd person was better. Location is just next to the American Village. Friendly staff.
