The photos of this property were likely accurate maybe 20 years ago. Everything is old, and falling apart. The unit smelled of smoke and mold. The cracks in the walls and dirt/mold in the corners of everywhere you look are unsightly. This place is in desperate need of a renovation. We let the front desk know (the 'front desk' is about a block down from this unit), regarding the issues, and we were offered a one night refund if we decided to leave. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find availability last minute in the summer in London so we had decided to stay. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place! It's disgusting. There is a Radisson Blu not far from here that we would have chosen to move to instead (but it was sold out).

The property itself was okay. There were no toiletries, only soap. The property was walkable to two stations which was nice and there were a few restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The only complaint I have is the amount of noise my neighbors made. For the first few nights, I heard alot of noise from the people next door

The property was old and the room smelled like mold. Not very clean. Tiny rooms nothing like the pictures. Building and street very noisy. Had to ask people on the street how to check in. Turns out the office of way down the street on the other side. Didn't feel safe walking down the street at night. When got to the church on desk, clerk wasn't there and a sign showed he'd be back soon. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up. Not happy at all with this stay.

For one person the room size was fine. The bathroom was narrow but not a problem for me (if you are a taller/larger person, closing the door may feel claustrophobic). The major problem was the bed - the mattress sloped to the headboard (feet raised about 4 inches), the sheets were worn and mattress obviously very used. Really this is a two star. Also, while my reservation was for 34 Inverness - you have to check-in at 55 Inverness (Expedia doesn't tell you this). Location is amazing - close to green/yellow line and red line Underground; close to Paddington station (and route to Heathrow), lots of grocery stores and restaurants.

Very close to two underground stations, lots of restaurants, and minutes from Hyde Park. Overall, an excellent location. We had an upper level apartment. 58 steps to the top. May not be suitable for people who are older, out of shape or overweight. Also, no air conditioning!

Location is great but the apartment is nothing like the pictures. There was mold in the bathroom and the furnitures are all smashed up and not well maintained. Bed was thin and you could feel the springs. Walls definitely need to be repainted.

Property location was good for my needs. I was given the basement unit which looks nothing like the picture. The tiling was in good condition but the walls and ceiling paint was not nice. The bed mattress was also poor. The window was foot from a wall. The laundry room was adjacent, not ideal.

Wonderful Place for Central London

For central London it was a great space and loved having the in-suite kitchenette. Liked that it was clean and modern. Walls were a bit thin so noise carried but that’s to be expected in London. Serviced only every 3 days upon request but we really didn’t need it more than that. Reception staff were lovely and helpful!

We were in a newly renovated room. It was very clean and comfortable. House keeping is upon request, which suited us fine. A few kitchen items were missing but once we gave a note to the front desk our requests were filled. The location is great, very handy to the tube, grocery stores, restaurants and Hyde Park.

Not a good idea read the review

I'm a pretty easy guy to please especially since I'm a bargain hunter i know what to expect. But this place was not a deal or a place to go to again. I'll give the list of goods and bars here Good Close to hyde park Close to the subway Good service with front desk Bad One temp for the shower and it was extremely hot if you wanna cook Chinese noodles bring them into the shower with you Paper thin walls. Got told we were being to noisey at 10pm and all we were doing was packing guess the bag on the floor is not a good idea? Kinda stupid Really bad bed owner needs to put some money into the place it was a futon mattress that was beaten up on a bed frame Windows don't help to block out street noise at all and rattle in the lightest of breezes. Tv and fridge door was messed up upon arrival If you are around 6ft tall you are gonna have a hard time fitting in the washroom The only thing really good was the staff as they were all really helpful. Location is alright but maybe just choose a different hotel in this price range for the area. I was not really happy with anything about this place and this is the only bad review i have ever given a hotel out of the 50 or so i have stayed at using hotel.com

Clean Hotel, Good Location, Way Too Many Stairs

I liked this hotel very much, my room was like a tiny bachelor's apartment - it had everything I could possible need (mini fridge, oven, stove, cable tv, bed & couch). I was very comfortable staying there, and I felt safe (I am a single woman, this was my first time in England and my first solo trip). The only issue I had was with the stairs... all 97 of them. I was not aware that my room was on the fifth floor and that the hotel is a walk-up; this was not a pleasant surprise. I almost dreaded leaving my room because I didn't want to have to walk up the stairs on my way back, in fact one night I actually just stayed in to avoid the trek. The worst was lugging my 50lb suitcase up all those stairs... All in all the room itself was great, but because of where it is located it is really not appropriate for anyone with limited mobility.

Great location, but...

No lift. 59 steps to top floor. Poor Wi-Fi reception on upper floors (excellent in lobby). "Free toiletries" only include a small soap and toilet paper. Large room (sleeps 3). Wobbly table and chairs. It was nice to have a kitchen with cutlery, dishes and pots and pans (as well as dish soap and a dish cloth). Good bed. Ask for a lower-floor room if you can. Night time staff were more receptive to guest needs than those during the day.

Accommodation was modern and clean. Kitchen wasn’t adequate to use for much more than breakfast. Not enough utensils, cooking equipment, wine glasses etc. Stairs were a bit dangerous for children or anyone slightly unsteady on feet. The upstairs room had glass wall so no privacy from guest using the downstairs sofa bed.

A very good location with lots of supermarkets, restaurants and 2 train stations within 5 mins walk. We got a lovely loft room with kitchenette. It was warm and cosy. Toilet is big. A few areas ro be improved: The soundproofing needs to be better. We could hear upstairs walking. Some of the towels given were stained and old. The toilet seat had some unremovable stains. The stairs to the loft is steep and narrow, have to be very careful. Overall it was a very nice stay and i would recommend it.
