We rented the two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious especially considering its location. Never having been in Edinburgh before we were unsure on whether to stay in old or new town and in the end this was the perfect choice. It was located on a quiet street but very walkable to everything. It was also helpful that the property management office is just down the street and we were able to leave our bags there before checking in as our arrival to the city was well before check in. The staff were very helpful and were very quick to respond to any questions. Overall great apartment and would definitely stay there again.

Abruptly Tried to Kickus Out 15mins After Checkout

very rude and abrupt at check out (11am). First we had the cleaner knocking at 1058, I told her my husband was on his way with a rental car to pick us up. She was quite nice. 11:15 a very abrupt lady knocking angrily insisting that we get out as they need to clean, I told her that I had just spoke to my husband and he would be back at noon to pick us up. She was very stressed by this like it was just unbelievable!! she said she would need to speak to the office and maybe they were going to charge us for a late check out, which I am completely fine with!, I explained to her we have a ton of luggage and we can’t possible leave before he gets back with the car or we would. 1145 another angry lady about to knock on the door as we begin to hual our luggage out….she just turned and stomped away….The point is they could have relayed all the same information in a much nicer manner, I don’t need angry women insisting that we get out!!! Not very nice start to the day!! And given they were unable to accommodate any kind of early checkin after our 17hr travel, even with our noon check out 3hrs I think should be plenty to clean a small apartment, assuming there are other guests checking in the same day. We will be back to Edinburgh at least 5 times this year, and if it wasn’t for the check out we would have likely stayed here again in the future, now we will not. In the end we were charged $50 for late check out, would have loved to just nicely been told that.

It was like a home away from home - easy to find, great communication from the vendor, check in was effortless, and everything was clean. Being able to do laundry after traveling for more than 2 weeks was the icing on the cake. Excellent value for money - I would stay here again.

Great base for exploring Edinburgh.

Huge space, with excellent amenities and in a great location. Nice quiet street but close to the main street and walkable to the Royal Mile. Would definitely stay here again. Has a washer/dryer in the room.

The property was beautiful with all new amenities and services. Great location for easy walking to all the exceptional sites from Arthurs seat, Hollywood Palace, Parliament, the Castle, and the Botanical gardens. Excellent options for shopping and eating are very close.

Excellent Location - Great Stay!

As this is an apartment, not a hotel, there are different expectations.Overall, would recommend! Pros: -EXCELLENT location - walking distance to all major sites in downtown Edinburgh -Spacious rooms, huge shower -The bed was good, comfy enough. Not a pillow top, but did the trick. -Dishwasher worked great -Fridge was a nice size, but the freezer was quite small -Great wifi Things that could be better: -When you arrive, don't expect to knock off your laundry the first night like we did. The apt has a single washer/dryer combo unit which is quite popular in Europe. The problem is they are terribly slow. The wash cycle is 2 hrs then you have to switch it over to dryer mode. A standard full load dry is 2.5 hrs! This is not a North American style unit. And, you cannot open the door until the full 2.5 hrs has past - even if you cancel to drying cycle. Count on one load of laundry per evening. -The unit was very low on lighting. North America is used to much more lighting, but that's the way it is. -As the bathroom was very spacious, there is a lot of space between the wall, toilet and sink. So much that you can clearly see that they need to put more effort in cleaning this area. -There is housekeeping once a week and garbage/towels every two days. We were there 6 days and they only came once. -There are single pane windows so close all doors to create a noise barrier

Excellent location in newly renovated building

Excellent flat - spacious and newly renovated. Close to very good restaurants, pubs, shopping and Waverley Station. Full kitchen facilities. Secure building. Staff in main office (two blocks away) were very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the office before check-in and after check-in so we could have unhindered time. Would definitely stay here again!

Central but rather crap

Windows are thin. Was woken up every night of our stay by passers by at all hours of the night. Beds were uncomfortable. Luggage is stored off site at their office, which is inconvenient. But the worst was when after a day out, my son used the toilet & clogged it. There was no plunger in the apartment, no on site alternate toilet to use and no one on site to deal with the issue for over an hour. It being a Sunday night after 5, no shops nearby were open. So I had to walk to the Christmas market to use their public toilets. When the repair man finally came, he said, “sorry it took so long! We have 275 apartments all over the city. I came as quickly as I could.” It was fixed quickly after that, but it is not his fault that the company that employs him has a crap business model. But pay attention when you book.
