We have visited here 5 times and enjoy the rooms, location and amenities including the pools and beach front swimming and smal shop. We were in an unrenovated room which was ok but the fridge was horrible. Freezer full of frost and dripped over everything below. The check in was confusing as far as how much we paid and even though confirmed all booking paid for was charged another night on exit. There was not an itemized list of nights and payments even though requested. I emailed them twice about reservation for Valentine's day and re list articles and no answers so communication and systems poor. Great decorations and entertainment for Valentine's Day but food expensive- soup and dessert good but main dish not so good .

We like that it is a non smoking resort. Not everyone honours the rule as they sometimes smoke on their balconies but it is impossible for the staff to monitor.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. All the staff are very friendly. In particular our room lady, Yanet, was amazing. She couldn’t do enough for us and kept our room immaculate. We would definitely visit again.

We booked because it looked great on the pictures, very disappointed to find out it’s not as advertised. The property is run down, there was construction happening, a funky smell throughout the building, moldy curtains in our room, a few of the exercise equipment were broken, and is located so far away from everything. The property is advertised as being 6 min away from the malecón which is not true, it’s 20 minutes by car which costs more if you’re taking a taxi or Uber. I will say the ocean view was pretty good but not enough to keep us there. We stayed one night because we didn’t have anywhere else to go, and had to find another accommodation for they rest of our stay, we communicated with Expedia about this but apparently the hotel refused to take any responsibility for the state of the place and offer no refund at all. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

We really enjoyed the heated pool, and the activities they offered. Food was not great at restaurant and many people complained about being sick. Not sure if that’s a Mexico thing or what. We are plant based eaters so selection was very limited.

The best part about this place is the lagoon in the front of the property, good for snorkelling. Make sure you understand how the charges to the room work and the restaurant’s before you go. Older style hotel but very clean.

This didn’t work for us for a relaxing holiday by the ocean. We were able to have lounge chairs beside the pool only on only 3/8 days. And there were only 6 sun umbrellas for 58 lounge chairs. It was very crowded and lacked sufficient means to get out of the sun.

Way too expensive for the quality. It’s old, they communicate changes, fixes, etc. very poorly. The lobby people are REALLY not good and they make it seem like they’re doing you a favour, and I had to call 4 times in 2 days to get some clean towels. Only stay here if you get a cheap deal, otherwise it’s not worth it.

Friendly staff. Once a beautiful resort but showing its age. Small things like worn towels, pool pump not working, sand in pool,old utensils and common area cleanliness not up to par.
