Cerritos beach itself is gorgeous really but has become way too busy. The hotel desert moon was overpriced, and we were only given 1 roll of tp for 2 people for three nights and the towels (and bedding) weren’t changed once during our stay. There is no garden area or laundry facilities as advertised. Otherwise the breakfast included was nice to have in the morning, simple but still alright, and the staff were pleasant.

Surfers paradise! We loved this small surf community with complimentary eggs and ham for breakfast. Not wheelchair accessible all rooms are stair access. Beach has chairs, umbrella and surf lessons for rent. We would totally stay here again and had a great experience!!!

Great place to stay on the beach of Cerritos. Staff is great. The pool is refreshing. Nice to have a typical mexican breakfast included with your stay. The price is great too!

Beautiful site above the surfing beach. Dining was good, staff helpful and welcoming. Basic set up in room, comfortable with large fridge and fun decor. Dirt road to hotel 25 minutes south of Toto Santos.

The exchange rate for pesos didn't match what is so be sure to check that. View was great. Room/floors were a bit dirty and free breakfast was so-so. More like a 2 star for the price.

Hotel Desert Moon is the ultimate in Cerritos cool. It's unique design gives you a great view of the playa (beach). The rooms are like a loft a very chic. And, yes, you can walk to the beach in about two minutes; you will hear the alluring and calming sound of the pounding surf at night. There are surf board lessons and boards available as soon as you hit the beach (Marios). Perhaps best of all was the host, bartender and problem solver - Juan. He might just be the hippest and most fun cat in the Baja! There is nothing in Mexico that rivals a sunset at Cerritos - muy bonita. FYI - when you check in, up top, at the bar, it is easier to drive up. You can also walk up the stairs (it's a workout). Amazing spot, you will love it! The only caution is that you will have a hard time finding the hotel in the dark.

We had a beautiful view ,great room loved it .its off the beaten track a bit so you will need a car to get there , there was a cool bar up the dirt road with a live band playing. That was fun you can walk to that . Meet watching the surfers from the balcony

Great location close to beach (throw a stone -you're there). Breakfast is on patio by the pool with plenty of umbrellas for shade. Good breakfast. Many other resorts and restaurants all within 10 minute walk. Short drive to groceteria on main dirt road in. Unit had a full size kitchen and refrigerator. Surfboard rentals available on the beach. Would return.

Highly recommend! This place is amazing! Steps from the beach, really safe, amazing views, quiet evenings, perfect accommodations and really well priced. Staff is incredible and the most unreal views from the bar. Don’t be surprised when you first check in, it can seem a little lite on amenities and the dirt roads might unnerve you, but it turned out to be all I needed plus more and the serene atmosphere of no lights and Baja dirt roads were my favourite part by day 2. Enjoy, I’m jealous you’re going already!

Got a last minute booking here for New Yeats after a brutal Air BnB experience. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean and we had a nice view of the ocean. The only drawback is the stairs if you have a lot of luggage but the hotel guy helped us get it to our rooms. Will definitely stay here again
