Location was great, however, the unit is in need of a major clean/update. Stained carpet throughout, ants made cooking near impossible, ants in the dishwasher, fridge is rusting on the exterior, interior paint is needed as hand marks all over the high touch areas and overall cleanliness of unit was subpar because of this. I expect some bugs in Maui but this was over the top. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this unit.

Elua village is my favourite complex in Wailea. The grounds are stunning and beautifully maintained and the property is located on Ulua beach along the stunning Wailea beach walk. Many of the nicest hotels are in its immediate vicinity for dinners or happy hour cocktails to watch the sunset over the ocean. The pool area is in very good shape and always has an abundance of lounge chairs. The units themselves are very spacious with huge lanais and personal use BBQ’s. We have stayed at many of the properties nearby snd this one has the most to offer. It is pricey but worth it.

Lovely place and grounds were lush and tropical

Everything you needed was there, well kept condo as were the pool and grounds. Superb views & easy walk to beach and pools. Friendly staff and certainly appreciated the surprise bottle of Champagne & balloons for our Anniversary - very thoughtful indeed.

Outstanding apartment right on a beautiful beach

Stayed there for 5 nights with the family incl. two teenagers. This was an outstanding 2 bedroom apartment in a great resort. Make sure you secure #107. The apartment was in great shape, all very modern and well maintained. The kitchen was more than fully equipped with everything you could imagine. There is a propane operated Weber grill on a superb patio with a dining table, chairs and deck chairs. Great for enjoying the sunset. A sunshade and beach chairs are also at your disposal. A short 2 minutes walk you are down at Ulua Beach with amazing snorkelling on the North side without need to swim far from the shore. There is also a nice pool with shades and sun chairs right at the shoreline. Also you have access to the magnificient Wailea Beach path. Im summary: a perfect apartment in a great Resort for an excellent stay on Maui!

Great place for family

We were there with a 4-year-old and a 5-month old baby. The resort is very beautiful and easy access to Ulua Beach Park. The landscaping was really nice at this place. You can also walk over to the Marriott next door and stand around to watch Luau show by the ocean for free. We will come back for sure!

Wailea Elua Resort

The Wailea Elua is a very beautiful resort, very well maintained and in a very good location in terms of getting in and around Wailea and Maui. What was disappointing was the condominium itself. There was some mix-up about being ocean FRONT versus ocean VIEW. We could live with the ocean VIEW because it was lovely, however the condo unit is very dated and in need of refurbishment. Even the DVD/VCR could not play current movies. The Bar B Que that was provided was rusted through...and thankfully a new one was delivered. Staff did what they could to provide better arrangements but resort was too busy because of Spring Break. Even though Refurb is not planned to mid-month, like their website states...during the day it was often noisy with preparations being undertaken for the refurbishment. I do not feel I got my monies worth.

Just OK.

Meh. The condition of our villa (dirty, worn, frayed carprting; sticky door hardware, worn out plumbing fixtures, uncomfortable beds and burnt out lights) was disappointing. The construction of a new resort and the workshop right behind the upper pool created a lot of noise and disruption.

Nice condo with superb location

The Elua Village is a very nice condo unit in a superb location. Right on the beach in Waliea is really hard to beat. The only drawback we had was that the daily housekeeping could have been better. I would stay there again in a heartbeat for off season pricing.

Beware of condo location within the property

We arrived after midnight but had no issues with our reservation. In the morning however, we realized our unit was near the back end of the property and very close to a busy road. All we could hear was traffic as we sat on our patio. Fortunately, we were able to move to another unit located in the center of the property whereby the view was stunning and the only sounds were that of the ocean and the birds. The second condo was not near as nice as the first but we chose location over condo luxury.

Paradise Found

Having stayed at the Marriott next door for one week, we weren't sure whether the Elua would be as good. We were so delighted we will stay the whole two weeks rather than split, even if it meant a short walk to the conference at the Marriott. That being said, the oceanview made the experience stellar!

New second home!

Perfect condo for a week in Maui. Excellent location, quick walk to the pool/beach but up a bit so it was super quiet. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Easy check-in/check-out process also! Will definitely stay here again!
