Our room was fantastic with a beautiful view from our 5th floor room plus the terrace on the 5th floor gave a fantastic view of the lake and all the ferry traffic

We had a great stay at Hotel Du Lac. It was our second stay there and once again it exceeded our expectations. Great location right on the lake with beautiful views from the rooftop patio. Deluxe breakfast was included in their beautiful scenic breakfast room! Dinner at the hotel was delicious!

This hotel was amazing. Right on the water, access to all the shops and restaurants. The family who owned the hotel were always around. Super friendly and always there to lend a hand. The bathroom was extremely clean and so was the room. The only downside was the beds were pretty hard but that seems to be everywhere in Italy. Would definitely recommend.

A winning combo!

Wonderful hotel in a gorgeous setting. A friend and I stayed in this delightful, exceedingly well situated hotel. The ferry was right across the street, their breakfast was copious and delicious in a room with a lovely view. All the front desk personnel were very helpful and made excellent recommendations for siteseeing trips. Would definitely return and highly recommend!

I returned for a second visit

I returned to Belaggio this year for a second visit - Lake Como is truly a gem for beauty. The Hotel du Lac was my first choice for a hotel for a 6 night stay this year after a great visit last year. This year was no exception. Prior to my arrival, emails to the hotel were always promptly and quickly returned. Our arrival was quickly processed and a nice Classic room was assigned. It was clean and reasonably spacious. The french window opened onto a small balcony facing one of the quaint stepped pedestrian walkways of Belaggio with a view to Lake Como. The roof-top terrace was like a private, quiet oasis right in the midst of Belaggio. Silvia and the rest of the front desk team was always extended themselves to help and be friendly. It was truly a pleasure.

Great location

I chose this hotel because I traveled with my mom and the location of hotel is very ideal for her. Breakfast was delicious and the view of mountains from the restaurant is amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel du Lac: Best Location on entire Lake Como

Hotel Staff: Exceptionally friendly; Rooms clean and beds COMFORTABLE! Bellagio is the best location on the lake and Hotel du Lac was the best location in Bellagio!!! Highly recommend it!!!

Greta location

We loved our stay there, we ate supper there , price too high for quality of food, air cobditioning was excellent. Breakfast good, upstairs 5 th deck fantastic views,the directions to use the pool were not god, how to get there, who do you ask for key and towel? And the walk is further than what we were told . Luckily hotel bellagio had a courtesy ride and we took the shuttle back, not sure if hotel de lac had the same service, were not told. Jacquie

Great Waterfront hotel

The drive in was nerve-racking as you had to drive through walkway full of pedestrians. The beds were hard as plywood - but apparently this is norm for Italy. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and moved us up to a lakeview room when it was available. Spoke fluent English. The hotel is located across from the watertransport which was very handy. The rooftop terrace was fantastic with incredible views. Breakfast was well managed and good value.

Great place to stay

Hotel du Lac is a great place to stay in Bellagio! We were 2 couples staying here for 2 nights in July 2014. The hotel is located steps from the ferry. Our rooms were a good size and the balconies off of the room offered a magnificent view of the stairway up town and from below Como lake. It rained a bit while we were here and we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the first night. The service was very good and the food was as well. We were glad that this hotel had the best outside radiant heaters which made the outside bistro fill cozy even in the rain. The views are amazing in Bellagio and we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel.
