This is one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok. I really like to stay here and I have enjoyed staying here for over 15 years. The staff are always welcoming and nice. The rooms are very spacious and all the amenities are excellent and in working order such as laundry, gym and pool

Superb!!!

It was everything a five star stay should be from check in to check out it was superb. The concierge went above and beyond when I vacillated over a side trip to Phuket for Songkrans. The room service was superb I got exactly what I ordered.

Quiet, large room, resort feel, close to metro

We were a family of 4, (2 teens), we got an extra bed for our oldest, plenty of room. Excellent view of the urban landscape. Nice pool, spa facilities and decent onsite pub. Wine room was excellent. Store downstairs, (cash only), was good for essential/emergency items. If you plan to do any amount of cooking, for which the kitchen is well equipped, you need to find a proper market or grocery store. Laundry soap was provided for washer & dryer. Daily refresh of bottled water. Third floor residents lounge with pool table, also a good chill out spot. Very close to metro and during the week, good walking access to local restaurants, (in the financial district).

Nice hotel, very well located

Very well located near skytrain. Staff at the hotel very friendly and for those who love to work out, this is the right place. The gym is fabulous, clean and modern. The rooms are modern, clean with a small kitchen which is very convenient.

A great home, and refuge in Bangkok

Had the 2 bedroom exec, and it's huge, with two large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a third bedroom for luggage! Full kitchen and laundry with detergent, coming in handy as you go through a lot of shirts in Bangkok humidity! 3 zone, and effective AC to prevent temperature arguments. Cleaning staff work afternoons so make certain to use your maid request hanger in the morning to avoid conflict with afternoon nap time! Good location, 5 min to sky train, fab buffet breakfast (special Kudos to the Omlette Lady) and capable a friendly staff all around.

We liked the Ascott so much we stayed here twice

I wanted to make sure to have a nice hotel to check into for my first few nights with my bf and friend so we weren't scrambling for accommodation at the airport. We were so impressed! Our rooms both times were huge like an apartment with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, safe, big closets, rain shower, full bathtub, free WiFi, free awesome tasting buffet breakfast (nothing else tasted as good anywhere else). My favourite part of Ascott is the gym/pool - It's absolutely amazing! It's hidden on a floor that looks like It's only rooms. They have all the amenities you could imagine: three sizes of towel, nice wooden lockers with plenty of space, stations with sinks, combs, brushes, q tips, cottons, blow dryers, face wash, tissues, shower stations with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, sauna, steam room, whirlpool. The gym has every machine imaginable and a juice bar, yoga room, aerobics room. They have seriously thought of everything and It's top notch quality. I got a cake and teddy bear sent to my room because it was my birthday and their toiletries are L'Occitane I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

The Ascott Sathorn is in a great location, near public transport, and a short walk to some great restaurants and shopping. It has a wonderful pool area and good pub with live music that was amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful too. I didn't like how noisy it was at night. The windows could really do with triple glazing due to traffic noise. I was on the 7th floor, so maybe more of an issue lower down the building. The pillows were really hard and uncomfortable too.
