This hotel even after 15 years (stayed in 2007) was wonderful. Everything about it. We had a private pool suite for our family of four. The service exceptional, food, amenities, location, pool, service…all of it perfect.

Booked a sea view room but there are other buildings in front of it and only a 30 degree angle with limited sea view (the beach only). This is not stated in the room condition. The bathroom is absolutely bad in terms of its VERY small size, and the shower water making sitting in the toilet a very wet experience. For the price, over 600 euro per night, this is ridiculous. That is the bad but the good is the common areas in the hotel property are excellent. The breakfast is good and the dinning room is excellent with remarkable sea view.

Beautiful hotel with a great pool and beach.

We stayed at Petasos in May, 2017 and had a couple of warm-enough-to-swim days and a few that required long-sleeved shirts. Overall, we enjoyed our experience - the resort was lovely and there was loads of shared and private space to really enjoy the waterfront and pool real estate of the place. There's a bus stop just across the street with buses into town every 30-60 minutes throughout the day, so it was very accessible. Breakfast and the waitstaff were remarkably friendly and helpful. We were disappointed by the bed, especially the pillows, which were flat and hard and replaced by similarly flat, hard pillows when we requested new ones, and the bed was just okay. Likewise, the jacuzzi's max temperature was 25 degrees C (77F) and with poorly functioning jets, making it relatively unusable on the cooler days.

Just perfect.

After being to Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas and others, this is by far the best resort I have been too. The staff is out of this world amazing. Hotel is between two beaches, one quiet touristy one, and another party beach which is perfect mix. Breakfast was amazing. Shuttle city bus to downtown is right in front of the hotel. Can't say anything but good things.
