If you arrive or come back to the hotel in the midnight, you should let the receptionist know. Otherwise, they will lock the door, I guess for safety reasons, until they open at 5:30 am. You can actually open the door by tapping your room card but it does not work sometimes especially when you put your card with your phone in your pocket so try not to put it in your pocket. It won’t also work when opening your room door. But all in all, it’s a decent hotel. Employees are very nice!! :)

Plenty of free parking, close to Geneva airport. The room was comfortable and clean with a nice view from the balcony. However the bedroom was on the second level with steep stairs, not suitable for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues.

Though a little dated it was clean and comfortable with super friendly staff and a very nice pool area. Convenient near the airport and a 10 minute walk into town to see Voltaire's house which was worth the visit. Next time I would ask for a room that is not on the street side...the traffic was not particularly bothersome but would have been nicer on the other side.

Absolutely disappointing experience. Not a 4 star.

Let me start with the positive. Kudos to the staff for having to run a hotel that is in complete shambles. The front office was extremely helpful. Now let get to why I would never recommend this hotel. 1) the room was not clean. The carpet had damp patches and stains. The fridge was stinkIng. We spoke to the front desk and they quickly sent someone to clean the fridge. However, there was no one available to come look after the damp patches on the carpet. 2) the restaurant has no options. It has a sad sad sad menu. For a 4 star in France (Euorpeans know food) this was comPletely disappointing. 3) While the location is close to the airport and to Geneva, the bus service (TPG) is very infrequent. If you plan to rent a car the whole time then ok. But otherwise not. If I really look back, my biggest disappointment came from my expectation of a 4 Star and the price I willingly paid because of that rating. Notch the star rating down and slash the price down by at least 50 euros / night and I may have written a very different review. To make matters worse, I wanted to vent to the Manager. I was told the Manager is off on vacation!!!!! Was this a family run Bed & Breakfast that did not have a manager to fill in? I am fully committed to write to the authorities that dish out star ratings. I first have to figure out who that authority is :) I would never stay here again. And I would nOt recommend this ordeal to anyone.

This is a really well-managed hotel/apartment. The apartment is super spacious, beds are super comfortable, balcony huge, and cupboards are well stocked with crockery and essentials, if you decide to prepare small meals/snacks. Breakfast is delicious, lots of choice and so many choices! Staff are so welcoming and very helpful. Front desk staff, cleaning staff, restaurant staff all brilliant! I will definitely stay here again. It is also very close to carrefour supermarket (walking distance) and for Muslim guests, there’s halal restaurants to the left (3/4 mile) down from the hotel. There’s local parks too, and also Voltaires residence and statue in the square! It’s also 10 mins from Switzerland! Super practical and ideally located between both countries! We loved staying here! Thank you to everyone from Jahanara, Zak and Zain R.

Montant de la chambre élevé pour les prestations.

De notre arrivée vers 21 heures jusqu'à 23 heures, pas d'eau chaude car des clients avaient pris des bains... Heureusement qu'au matin, nous avons eu de l'eau chaude pour une douche. La télévision ne fonctionne pas (pas de signal...) Chambre très bruyante, bruit de la route et du système de chauffage. Les chambres sur le côté ou l'arrière sont peut-être plus calmes. Un point positif tout de même, la gentillesse de la personne au petit-déjeuner.

Awful hotel

The check-in was good, nice staff. But the room was disgusting. The beds had really big and brown marks on them, the floor had marks on them. The bathrooms was full of black mold. Would not recommend this to anyone!

This hasn’t been my first time in La Reserve but, unfortunately, might be the last one. It’s very well located and they keep it fairly clean but internet never worked (not even to read emails, forget about having a video conference or watch YouTube videos). Toilet malfunction (which we get it, it happens) but we had to beg to get a different room (afternoon switching rooms Internet kept being useless). Staff is friendly and they do their best but in Ferney there are few options for eat/drink and, on a Friday night, hotels bar was closed!

Good public transport connection to Geneva airport (bus 66) and Geneva center (bus 60). The 1-bedroom apartment was spacious and quiet, but maybe we were lucky to be on the backside of the hotel as the road in front is quite busy. The pool looked nice but nobody was using it early November. Breakfast was decent. The corridors of the hotel and the rooms look a bit dated, but everything is functional and it is clean.
