We loved the apartment. It was walkable to many different landmarks like the Louvre and Notre Dame. Lots of food options and shopping everywhere. We had an issue with hot water upon arrival and it was fixed very quickly. Communication with management was wonderful!

Great location. Kitchen is well equipped. We stayed in the ground level apartment. The front entrance when it’s unlocked or the door closes, it is loud. Specifically at night when it’s all quiet. Besides this, it was a great stay. Thank you

Clean, modern (electric shutters were a nice touch), spacious (1 bdrm apt), and amazing location. Close to metro and RER (1 stop from Gare du Nord), close to a ridiculous amount of restaurants, large grocery around the corner, and 5 min walk to the louvre. Would definitely stay here again.

I really wanted to like this property. The location is great, choice of restaurants within easy walking distance and the subway less than a minute walk. It was the interior of the hotel that left much to be desired. Leaving the elevator into a very small black painted entrance with 2 room doors and the door to the stairs and an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Upon entering our room we were greeted with a musty, moldy smell. We noticed the floor and baseboards showed that there had been a water damage in the past. The room itself was not as clean as we would like but again we thought it maybe was not used in a while and dust had collected. We opened the window to air the room out, leaving it open while we slept. My husband got up to use the bathroom and there was a terrible sewer smell coming from the shower drain. Thinking the shower trap had dried out he ran hot water in the drain adding dish soap when he realized it required more help. That was when we noticed a clump of hair wrapped around the roller for the shower door. When he used the toilet the ##2 flusher did not work. He used the #1 flusher and received toilet water spray on him and the floor. We discussed this with the receptionist next morning and was assured these would be looked after and the room was cleaned throughly every day. Long story shorter we were left with the smells, the toilet that sprayed everwhere when flushed and the shower hair for the duration of the stay.

Location was excellent. You could walk almost everywhere. All the main sights were nearby. The room had a fridge and cooktop. Bathroom was newly refurbished and clean but small. TV didn't work, we asked front desk to look into it but it didn't get fixed. Last day the chamber maid never showed up. But overall quite good.

What a disappointment

Location of the place was pretty good, service was good, rooms were clean. However, one of the room we booked smelled like sewage or dirty washroom. The smell was coming out from the drainages in the washroom, sinks in the kitchenette and the ventilation. I complained twice, they responded only once and it was slow and they weren't able to address the issue. We had to shut off the heating, left the window open at night and slept with our jackets on. We had a 4 years old toddler with us. also, the sound insulation wasn't all the best, you can hear noises from the floor above you. Barcode key didn't work properly so the check-in process was tedious and wasted a lot of time to figure out how to sign up for the barcode key registration. In addition, the van we had the hotel helped us to book to take us to the airport didn't show up and we stood there for almost 40 minutes waiting for it.

Excellent option - well located and wonderful!

We were two friends travelling together who wanted separate space. We rented the option with separate bedrooms and a shared kitchen / sitting room. 4 Rue Des Halles is perfectly situated and is so easy to come and go. It does not have additional services like a normal hotel, but with so many options in Paris (and a small kitchen) you don’t need a hotel restaurant. My one criticism would be that there are no drawers or places to put clothes away (there is a closet to hang things). It made it harder to properly unpack. Just one chest of drawers, or some drawers in the closet would have solved that problem entirely. Other than that, it was perfect and met out needs entirely!

Paris winter week

very close to metro and RER train from CDG. close to bistros on lombard and st-honoré streets. easy walk to notre dame. friendly staff. comfy and large unit with adjoining salon, queen size bedroom and small kitchenette. only fault was that there was no onsite washer and dryer and in room safe.

Best place I've stayed in Paris-I'm coming back!

Wow! I almost don't want to give it a 5 so I could keep this great gem in Paris my own secret. Everything was beyond my expectations. I've visited Paris many times, and I have stayed in some very nice hotels on business - but this is hands down my new absolute favorite. Felt as comfortable as home. Even though the property was outstanding - the staff and their service was even better. The staff was extremely helpful and service was OUTSTANDING! Daily cleaning service, and the entire place (entrance, elevators, stairs, hallways, apartment) was spotless. Very modernized, very clean, outstanding L'Occitaine toiletries. Very secure and discrete security entrance. Beautiful quaint balconies overlooking Rue Des Halles. The apartments are very sound proof for being in such a central location. Bedrooms are on street (and we stayed on the second floor), and they were so quiet we overslept by nearly 2 hours! Climate control system worked perfectly and it was always comfortable - which if you travel a lot you know how few hotels and properties actually work as they should. I will definitely stay here again, and would recommend for both individuals and families/friends traveling together.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room has everything you need, and is a great location to major sites and right by a Metro station. We stayed with our two young children, and it worked really well.

Great location, great apartment, helpful friendly staff. Expected a balcony - unclear from booking that this apartment, number 30, did not have one - a window with a very narrow, inaccessible, Juliet style 'space'. Otherwise perfect, although anyone in the living room bed has to go through main bedroom to get to toilet/bathroom.
