Convenient and well-equipped in Wellington

We had an enjoyable stay at the Gilmer Apartment Hotel. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and there was the added bonus of the combo washer/dryer for laundry right in the apartment. The bathroom was okay. We arrived after hours and the communication and instructions we received for a late arrival were good, however there was some confusion about the actual parking lot. I couldn't find any clear signage to indicate whether it was the parking area for the hotel or not. It was a convenient location and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Ease of access and proximity to the downtown core, shopping, restaurants, pier, museum, and cable car. The hotel staff were communicative, friendly, and accomodating. The beds were extremely comfortable and the space was clean and well stocked.

Hard to get to, older, very small rooms, not enough comfy chairs for four people, and we had mistakenly thought there were two bathrooms. A room for two couples is tough with only one bathroom. Hallways are tight, emergency exits are not well marked and are not in the ends of the building.

This was an amazing place to stay. It’s hard to tell when you book online but it truly was an excellent stay. The staff were amazing and the location just perfect. We had to stay an extra night due to the poor weather our ferry crossing was cancelled and the staff at the hotel found us a room for the extra night so quickly. We highly recommend staying here.

Room was older and “tired”. It needed a good cleaning. Bathroom fan sounded like a plane engine due to dirt buildup. Walkable to everything. Location was great.

Great central location to quay.

The location was perfect for our quick visit to Wellington. Just minutes away from the supermarket and quay. Kitchenette and laundry machine were a plus.

For a small space it has all the amenities a traveler needs including in suite laundry! Check in is easy, front staff was nice and helpful. Walking distance from the ferry. A very central location for dining, the funicular and the harbour walk. We would stay here again.

Adequate room with decent kitchen. Appreciated the in room washer and dryer. Housekeeping staff great. Most of front desk staff very friendly and helpful, however one staff member not at all friendly. Great location close to downtown

This was one of the best parts of our stay!

We loved our stay here! It was a perfect location and we were able to walk lots of places to have a break from driving. The room was clean and the staff are fantastic! We were able to walk a few steps and be right on the route of public transit, which we took! Thank you so much.
