Our studio condo was very efficient and contained everything we needed. The gardens are lovely and well cared for. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. A special thank you to Housekeeper Joan and Manager Gina. The beach is spectacular.

This property is very close to the ocean, and feels really safe. Staff is great to deal with. Only thing I feel would be easy to fix is more beach & shower towels, paper towels. The bed was very comfortable, we stayed in a Ocean front Villa. Lots of people watching.

Stayed at a main floor garden-view room with full kitchen. Path to beach and two restaurants - Starfish and Salt Plage (Toyin best server). Ana's restaurant also a short walk away. Staff and security friendly and helpful. Taxis on site. Access to catamaran trips and a must try. One of our best trips.

Wonderful property. Great security. Felt safe. Quiet, serene. Our unit was beachfront and had all the amenities needed to cook. Staff and front desk were very responsive and helpful. Our taxi driver Lesroy was great, took us everywhere we needed to go for the week. Will definitely stay here again.

The suite was just as described, 30 feet from the beach. My wife and I enjoyed coffee and breakfast every day on the very large deck that overlooks the beach. Fantastic place! Highly recommend

Our stay at Antigua Village was amazing!! We had a ground floor suite that faced the pool/garden area & it was beautiful. Property is kept in excellent condition & all the staff is so friendly. Everything is conveniently located, the beach is only steps away with many restaurants/bars to choose from within walking distance. We barely left Dickenson Bay because the beach is so wonderful, we didn’t really need to go elsewhere. It was a bit tough to get a beach chair on any given day because people would put towels down early & leave their chair vacant all day, one thing the resort could invest in is a couple more chairs for the beach. Pool was clean & never had any issues finding chairs around it. Our suite was very nice, comfortable bed & kitchen was stocked well with everything you need for cooking. Beach towels are provided for guests which was a nice bonus. Note that if you want a safe for your room it is $15 US for the week, wasn’t aware that it wasn’t included but it was not a big deal to pay for. Overall I would definitely stay at Antigua Village & recommended to anyone!

I liked the fact that I could sit on my balcony and watch the ocean. As good as being on the beach without the sand. The unit below was being renovated which caused a lot of noise during the day.

Nice Hotel close to the beach.

The hotel has a good location. Close to the beach, between 2 good restaurants, minutes away from other tourists spots. Staffs friendly. Rooms are clean. Only negative about the place are the mosquitoes. Lots of mosquitoes on the stairs. So, when we open the door to our rooms, the mosquitoes go inside the rooms as well. There's a can of baygon inside the rooms. Since the air-condition is on, we didn't spray the baygon. We didnt want to inhale the chemical. We just tried killing the mosquitoes with our hands.

Our Antigua village studio apartment

Our overall experience during our week stay (Feb 8-15, 2014) at Antigua village was quite relaxing and enjoyable. It was not perfect but we would return. Each unit at the village is privately owned so the furnishings will vary from one unit to the next. Ours was equipped with new appliances and overall was quite cosy. The owners of our studio apartment obviously took pride in maintaining the unit and even provided a log book for visitors to notify them of any issues. WIFI was free but the signal was not strong at our unit or by the pool but it was available. The beach area ran the length of the village but since beaches are all public in Antigua you can walk the length of Dickenson Bay beach if you like. Weather you rent a car (parking is available at the resort) or not (Taxi stand at entrance) the resort is the perfect base camp for exploring the island. The front desk will help you book any excursions (zip line, snorkling, sailing, stingray petting, etc.) For restaurants, Coconut Grove at the south end of the beach is ideal for a meal or drinks while watching the waves roll in. If you want to fill your fridge with food and drink First Choice supermarket is only a short drive away. Our only gripe would be the evening party noise from our neighbours next door at the Sandals resort but this would only impact the few units like ours at the very north of the resort village.
