We stayed for a nearby concert so the location was good for us and it competitively priced. But the room absolutely stunk of cigarettes, when I told the front desk about this, they were unable to switch our rooms and couldn't provide any air freshener because the manager had left it was locked in his room.But recommended I should buy some they would compensate us at checkout, which was very inconvenient. At checkout I asked about compensation for the stay and they took $5 off the bill and couldn't/wouldn't do any more, which was honestly more insulting than anything else. Moral of the stay, just spend a little bit more for adequate customer service.

I have never reviewed a hotel before but this property was shockingly filthy that I had to. It looked lovely in the photos, but they were deceiving. There were stains on the sheets, pubic hair on the walls, vent, and floors of the bathroom, toothpaste on the mirror still, overall grime and dirt everywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Worst hotel check experience of my life!!! It all started with staff calling me to let me know the room type I booked would not be available and we would be getting a room/bed downsize from what I booked a month prior. Staff was extremely rude and disrespectful to my family at front desk. When they did give us our room it was nothing like what we had booked. The whole room smelled of "weed". When we expressed that we would not be staying the night for these specific reasons the front desk clerk would not give us a refund as requested. I asked to speak to manager listed as on duty and they refused to let me speak to them. Most unprofessional staff and experience I have ever had trying to check in to a hotel after a long day. They even threatened to call police if we did not leave. We agreed to leave after explaining all we wanted was a refund. I would NOT recommend this hotel and would recommend that nobody ever stay at this location!

Bathtub was covered in pubic hair, toilette had dried pee on it, floors had debris in the kitchenette. The door looked like it had been previously kicked in and repaired, the peep hole is back wards so you cant see out but people can look in. General disrepair through out. Front desk is not 24hrs. Key cards frequently deactivate. On the plus side the staff is very friendly, no odors and no bugs. I dont believe they (staff) are responsible for the state of things, this is on the owers.

I booked my stay for 3 nights, I didn’t end up staying a single night, there was a strong smell of smoke in the entire unit. I didn’t get any wifi in the rooms that I had booked. There was stains of what seemed to be feces on the sofa bed. The kitchen smelt like a bathroom

We booked a room for 4 adults; the room had a king size bed and a pull-out couch. The room was dirty and smelled bad, the sheets on the bed had dirt on them, , cabinet drawers had dirt and hair in them, there were cigarette burns on the carpet despite this being a non-smoking room, bags of garbage left in the hallway outside several rooms. The pull-out couch where 2 adults were supposed to sleep had no bedsheets, no blankets and no pillows. I went to the front desk to inquire about the missing bedding, but the attendant could only provide me with bed sheets and pillows, but said no blankets are available. We decided to look for another hotel to stay at, since this one was completely unacceptable. When I asked the front desk attendant for a refund, I was told that since we were in the room for over one hour, I would not be given a refund. I explained to the lady at the front desk that 1/2 an hour of that time was spent by trying to locate the missing bedding and having to go to the front desk in an unsuccessful attempt to get this bedding, but she did not care. This hotel is disgusting, and I will never return here again!

Not actually Hawthorn Suites

Hawthorn Suites, Warren is actually permanently closed and this property is running under a different name. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived even though we confirmed our reservation by phone a few days in advance. Water in our room shows evidence of flooding or leaking along with a moldy smell. Breakfast was advertised as included when booking on hotels.com but it was not available and no discount was offered. We would not stay here again.

Big rooms enough to room a family of 6. But room felt dirty. Chipped old paint on walls, stained tub, many carbet stains, vent was gross to look at, had to air out the room. With kids the pool is the focus of the trip but only opened at 10am contrary to the 9am posting inside the pool.
