Excellent Stay

We always stay at Oaks properties and have always found them clean, friendly, and in convenient locations. Our one bedroom suite had a nice balcony, full kitchen and living area and in-suite washer/dryer. Front staff very nice. Close to the new Star Casino and shopping areas.

Great place to stay in the centre of the CBD. Walking distance to the Queen St Mall, City Botanic Gardens or South Bank for the Art Gallery, Museum and restaurant district. Full kitchen and laundry, friendly staff Expensive parking.

Constant drilling in building. Not a place to work

DO NOT STAY HERE If you are planning on working. They are currently replacing the hot-water systems for the entire building and you will hear wall-vibrating, high-powered drilling from 8am onwards during weekdays. Reception said this is an on-going process that will continue for the 'next couple of months'.

There are a couple of Oaks Hotels on Charlotte so be sure to tell taxi driver the address. We were let off at the wrong hotel. Our room on an upper floor had an excellent view and was very spacious. It really made our visit to Brisbane.

Great location but noisy

Room was really nice and clean. Ladies at the front desk were wonderful and extremely helpful; however, there were some issues with the building. Only one elevator was working our entire stay so very long wait time. BOTH elevators were down the morning we were checking out so we had to take our heavy suitcases on the stairs. Front desk said to carry our bags down 22 floors. They said someone would come help but nobody arrived. Luckily the cleaning staff told us we could carry our suitcases up 3 flights to the 25th floor which uses the other elevator shaft (which also only had one lift working). The outside noise is VERY loud at this hotel.

Fabulous hotel located in downtown Brisbane.

Hotel is steps away from shops, Botanical Gardens, South Bank, water taxis and buses. Clean, modern with helpful staff and great views. Balcony windows open for a nice added touch of fresh air. Needed a few more utensils in kitchen and the staff had them there quickly.

Excellent location and a spacious home for a week

Two blocks too the river and two blocks to the Queen Street Mall. Walking distance to Central Station where Air Train to Airport could be boarded. Convenient to all land and river Transit. A good kitchen, good laundry equipment and a lovely deck.
