Nice location

The hotel was very close to city transportation that mean walking distance 5 min. It was close to restaurants and shopping malls. It had super nice location. Our bed wasn’t comfortable but it’s ok.

Good location with unfriendly staff.

Not very kind staff…I called the day before to ask if they offered luggage storage and they said yes, when I showed up lady in front desk said they didn’t.. I told her I had called before so she made me fill a form however I had to leave suitcase outside at lobby…I decided just to wait. She told me to come back at 2 but no one was at front desk so had to wait until someone showed up to finally get the room. Clean and close to train station.

This hotel is highly automated, you can check in, stay, and check out without contact with any human. I imagine that could be a plus or minus, but certainly don't expect a concierge! There is no obvious way to make inquiries etc.

Nice, clean, well equipped. Small but according to pictures. The electronic check-in and check-out may be complicated if you are not too familiar with it. Better arrive within the hours with the reception open to avoid problems.

Wondeful but noisy.

I really like staying at Smartments Wien Westbahnhof. It is so close to the train station and the U1, close to amenities like grocery stores, and has a nice little kitchen--very functional. I have stayed here many times on business trips. But I don't know if I will stay again. It is terribly noisy, due to the neighboring properties (which I assume are youth hotels). With the window open on warm night, it can be very hard to sleep: large groups coming and going make noise outside late into the night. It's a shame. It is my preferred place to stay in Vienna: excellent for business travel, especially for an extended stay and if you like to cook for yourself while traveling. But noisy!

The check in was terrible. On Expedia I searched for a Hotel in Vienna and Smartments came up in the category. However, there was no reception desk, no place to put luggage when I arrived prior to check in, so had to carry my ski bag with me for 1.5 hours. I only had one afternoon in Venice, so this was disappointing. This is definitely NOT a hotel, and one shouldn't expect any of the services one would get at a hotel. This should NOT be in the hotel category in Expedia.

Comfortable abode near Wien Hbf

This is a great place to stay. We felt really comfortable. It was close to main public transportation and ameneties. Staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. It is located right beside train station so is easy to get to places. It is also a block away from restaurants and bar although is not obvious until you walk around the hotel. The hotel is in good conditions and have everything you need. I would definitely stay there again.

Location, Location, Location!

We liked our stay very much, everything we needed was close by. Very efficient set-up, a bit small but very comfortable. Very good value for the money. It's very close to the central station (Haupt Bahnhof) from where you can get all forms of transportation and shopping

The property is very clean and the rooms are well equipped. The only negative was the receptionist. We called her " Miss Sunshine" (sarcasm). While she did her job adequately , she did it with an attitude that made you think she'd much rather be somewhere else.
